Five Favorites .02

mom style, style on a budget, north carolina blogger, five favorites, favorite finds
Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend! We squeezed in as much a fun and family time as we possibly could. We had tacos and movie night on Friday. We went to the fall festival on Saturday morning before spending the day in Winston-Salem, including a visit to Trader Joe's and Kaleideum Downtown (children's museum). And Sunday, we went to church, got groceries, and rested! As much as I love fun, busy days, a day at home is equally as nice sometimes, too.

Today, I'm sharing my weekly picks for my five favorites. I started this little series on the blog last week and I'm pretty proud of myself for keeping up with it for a second week in a row! I'd love to know some of your current favorites as well!

Are you looking for a fun girls night out, place to celebrate your birthday or other special occasion, fun date activity, etc?! Well, Scent Workshop is the place to go if you are local to the Greensboro, North Carolina area. Even if you aren't super close, it's worth the drive! I did an in depth blog post about Scent Workshop here but to summarize: It's a workshop where you explore scents to create your own custom candles and fragrances. So much fun!

I have been a fan of Mrs. Meyer's cleaning products for awhile now. I started with a love of the apple cider scent, which I still love during the fall. During last winter, I loved the peppermint and this spring, peony was my favorite. I noticed the mum scent during one of my most recent Target runs and it's my current favorite! I grabbed the cleaning spray (since it was really the only thing I needed and could justify buying that day) and I love the smell! I clean my counter tops with this daily!

This bag is my most recent addition to my purse collection. As soon as I saw it as a new arrival, I added it to my wish list! I loved my round straw crossbody bag that I carried all spring and summer so I knew this would be a great bag to move into fall and winter. I love the color and the quality is amazing! I have literally carried this bag almost everyday since I got it in the mail. The leather on my Madewell bags just gets better with time!

I was dedicated to a $25 mascara for over a year. I loved how it made my lashes look but it got clumpy after just a few uses. I went on a quest to find a budget friendly mascara that worked just as good and it took me a few tries but I found one! This affordable mascara is less than ten dollars and works just as good (if not better) than my old, expensive favorite! This is a great option if you love length and volume out of your mascara with minimal clumping.

I am a big fan of bubbles! Bubbly drinks (alcoholic or not) are my absolute favorite. I discovered this dry sparkling wine at my favorite local wine and beer place. I get it pretty much every time we go to Lumina! If you're not local, you can also find it at Total Wine. It's so yummy!

Thanks so much for visiting! I hope you have a great day!
