Currently Loving

Happy Friday! Our vacation officially begins today! We are headed down to the Charleston, South Carolina area and then we we will flying to Cozumel on Saturday morning. Our bags our packed and I think I have packed everything we need... but I always end up forgetting something. Anyone else?! Every single time, I leave something behind... usually it's my phone charger. 

Today, I'm sharing my weekly roundup of what I'm currently loving. It was hard to narrow it down to eight this week. I found so many great items that I wanted to share with y'all!

Which of this week's picks is your favorite?!

1. B L A C K  D R E S S | I have been loving this style dress and I really loved the under $20 price tag on this one. I ordered it a few days ago and I can't wait to get it!

2. S A N D A L S | These sandals have been my go-to shoe lately. This cognac color literally goes with everything and then can be dressed up or down. 

3. E A R R I N G S | I shared these earrings in yesterday's recent Target purchases post and I have been loving them. They are so lightweight and go with everything!

4. S H O R T S | I love when I can find a good pair of denim shorts that have a five inch inseam! Hello, mom friendly shorts that aren't too long or too short! I find that a five inch inseam is really the perfect length. I also really love this pair too!

5. T O P | I love the details on the straps of this cute tiered top! It comes in black and red but the black one is definitely my personal favorite.

6. S T R I P E D  T U N I C | I bought this top a few weeks as soon as it released online because pink and stripes are my favorite. I love it how it looked paired with the matching skirt online so I am definitely planning to wear the two pieces together while we are in Mexico!

7. B U C K E T  B A G | I already own this bag and I love it! My only complaint is the smell when you first get it. It's just a really weird smell! But, after a few rounds in the dryer (with a dryer sheet inside the bag), it's so much better. I have been loving fabric bags!

8. M A X I  D R E S S | This is another great Target dress that will sell out fast! I love the cut out detail on the sides. It's so pretty!

Recent Target Purchases

Happy Thursday! Today, I am finishing up our packing and I'm going to get my hair done this afternoon. Going to see my stylist is one of my very favorite things to do! She always does the very best job! I'm planning to stick with the dark hair color because I am loving the more natural look right now. You can see my last cut and style in my most recent Hair and Beauty Bag post.

It's no secret that I love online shopping. I find that I do my very best shopping in the comfort of my own home, on my couch, wearing my pajamas, with a glass of rosé in hand. I actually don't do a whole lot of shopping in actual stores besides groceries. I do go to Target pretty often but I also really love to shop there online because I can always get free shipping with my red card plus returns are super easy. You can return by mail or in the store if something doesn't work out. My favorite Target store is currently being remodeled and while it's open during the remodel, it's super hard to find anything, especially in the clothing section. 

So, I say all of that to explain why there were all of these boxes on my front porch when I came home from work on Tuesday. I went to Target last week but couldn't find anything I was looking for so I purchased it all online over the weekend. I ordered one item on Monday morning and it was already at my house on Tuesday. That's crazy fast shipping! Today, I'm going to share what's inside of these packages. I am excited to say that everything worked. Yay for successful online shopping!

B L A C K  M A X I  D R E S S | This dress was my absolute favorite from everything I ordered! I was on the hunt for a great black maxi to take on our trip to Mexico and I hit the jackpot with this one. It has shirring down the side and middle that make it super flattering for all body types, a great slit on the side to make it perfect for summertime, and you can wear a regular bra with it. I am typically between a four and six in dresses but I don't like my clothes to fit too tight so I ordered a medium in this dress. However, if you like a more fitted style, you can definitely go with your regular size. This dress is under $25 plus it's currently buy one get one 50% off. I am also really love this dress as well! This black maxi will be on repeat all summer long!

P A N A M A  H A T | I really don't wear hats super often but I know a good hat would definitely come in handy on our trip. I already have a floppy one but it kind of annoying to wear and I think my fedora would look better on someone else. So I decided to order a different style all together and go for the panama style hat (as seen above). I absolutely love this style and the quality is amazing, especially when it was only $15! A must have for sunny summer days.

H O O P  E A R R I N G S | I really love the look of larger hoop earrings but I can't wear heavy earrings at all. They irritate me and my ear lobes sag in them because I wore too many heavy earrings during my teenage years. I was excited to find this pair because they are incredibly lightweight plus they have a fun, textured design. They are also super affordable at under $8!

G I N G H A M  T O P | I love anything gingham, especially black and white because it's so classic. I don't think gingham will ever go out of style! I love a high neck tank so I was excited to try this one from the Universal Thread collection. I wanted a loose fit so I went with a size medium. I tried the pink version on in store in a size small but I like the way the medium fits better. I plan to wear this with denim shorts and my new panama hat asap!

P A J A M A S | This is my fourth pair of these pajamas! I really didn't need another pair but I absolutely love this pink color and I know that I will get a lot of use out of them. I never really had "grown up" pajamas before I bought my first pair of these last summer but I wanted something that was comfortable but still looked nice. These pajamas are seriously so comfortable and a bargain at under $20! I wear them in a size medium for a relaxed fit. Yay for perfect pajamas!

Instagram Roundup

Hey y'all! I hope you're having a great week! I am currently in the middle of a big packing mess for our trip. Literally you can't see our bedroom floor because it's covered in clothing. I am typically an over packer because I get worried that I won't have enough clothes or I won't like what I brought but I am trying to be strategic and not take every single item in my closet with me. I narrowed down most of my picks for what I'm bringing in yesterday's Cozumel Packing List post so I am trying to stick with most just bringing those items and a few others to create outfits. I have a feeling that I will be living in a swimsuit during most of our trip anyway!

Today, I'm sharing my weekly Instagram Roundup. As much as I have been loving all things pink (which is me year round), I am also always drawn to wearing white during the summer. I love wearing it with a pop of color... like pink or turquoise!

Cozumel Packing List

Happy Tuesday, y'all! Yesterday, I spent the whole day the pool with my girls. We were there for almost six hours of fun in the sun. About 90% through our day, I realized that I was wearing my swim bottoms inside out. Haha! Hopefully I was the only one who noticed. Regardless of swimwear problems, we had such a fun day. As my kids have gotten older, pool days are way less stressful and are so much more fun. I love seeing the excitement on Julianna's face when she was finally big enough for the "big yellow slide" this year! 

Today, I'm sharing some of the items that I am packing for our ten year anniversary trip to Cozumel, Mexico! My husband and I will be enjoying a full week of relaxation and we cannot wait. A few years ago, we said that we would go to Mexico for our big anniversary but we didn't really know where we wanted to go exactly. It took me a month to decided where we are going (I'm the travel planner in our relationship), I picked Cozumel. We will be staying at an adults only, all inclusive resort and I'll be sharing more about it after our trip. 

This will be my very first flight in ten years, since we went on our honeymoon to the Dominican Republic. My husband flies for work often and we do a lot of family trips but our family vacation are always road trips. I have been driving my husband crazy asking him questions about flight preparation because things have changed so much since I last flew. But he patiently answered all of my crazy questions and I can't wait to go!

Now, on to the packing list. This list might be more for me than anyone else but it's helpful for me to organize what I'm taking with me plus I always love to see what others are packing for their trips!

Walmart Finds

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Our weekend was filled with friends (two birthday parties) and family (celebrating the amazing dads). This will be a busy week of trip preparations because my husband and I go to Mexico on Saturday! Tomorrow, I will be sharing more about what I'm packing but for today, I wanted to share some Walmart finds. I typically do my weekly grocery shopping at Walmart and I have been so impressed with their clothing, shoes, and accessories lately! They are really stepping up their style and quality. Currently Loving

Happy Friday! Yesterday, I spent over two hours cleaning out my girls' bedrooms. During the busyness of the school year, their rooms seriously got out of control. So I promised myself on the first day that I had the time, I would tackle their rooms with trash bags! So, two hours and three trash bags full later, their rooms are clean (for now). We make them straighten up their rooms on a regular basis but this was "momma can't handle this mess anymore" kind of cleanup, lol.

Today, I am rounding up what I'm currently loving. Which of this week's picks is your favorite?!

1. Shortalls | I have been hunting for an affordable pair of denim shortalls for summer and I am loving this pair. I am planning to order them and I'll report back!

2. Planner | Um, where was this planner this year?! Haha! I am definitely adding this one to my cart!

3. Basket Tote | How cute is this jellie basket tote?! I love it so much! I can't wait for it to arrive!

4. Leopard Sandals | These sandals are such a fun Target find! I saw them in the store yesterday and they are so cute! The fit is true to size.

5. Dress | I have been loving button front dresses and I love white for summer. This one is also on sale right now for 40% off!

6. Canvas Bag | I have the shirt and skirt in this pattern already... but I think I need this bag too. I absolutely love pink and stripes!

7. Lip Color | I got this "sparkling rose" lip color in an Influenster box and it's my go-to lately. It goes on more like a lip gloss and gives you the prettiest, subtle color. 

8. Bandana | This color pink is my favorite for summertime! I have already tied it to my straw bag and worn it in my hair.
