Coffee Table Essentials

Happy Wednesday, y'all! Today, I'm sharing a different type of style with you. I typically stick to outfits because that's my comfort zone but I've teamed up with Chairish, a place where design lovers can buy and sell beautiful vintage furniture and home decor, to share my coffee table essentials here on the blog.

Would you believe that I actually don't own a coffee table right now?! When we had our first daughter, we owned one of those coffee tables that has a glass top. Yeah, that didn't last in a home with little people. I kind of gave up on decorating and having pretty home decor when my girls were younger. Babies and breakables just do not mix. But now my girls are older and understand what's hands off for them so I'm excited about starting to decorate my house again instead of just baby proofing it to prevent major disasters and giant messes.

My coffee table essentials include a gold tray to organize all of my accents, a focal pineapple point, coasters, an interesting book, a candle, and a plant. I like to keep my decor pretty simple so only and in a similar color palette. I love pink, gold, and white together! What are your coffee table essentials?!

Poverty Flats

This look is so simple, so easy, and so me. There's nothing I love more during the summertime than a loose fitting pink top, scalloped shorts, comfortable sandals, and the perfect pewter handbag.

This ultra chic gem is from POVERTY FLATS by rian and it's so gorgeous! It can easily go with a casual daytime look like mine, especially when you carry it as a crossbody. It's definitely a mommy friendly bag that can hold all of your must haves (I even had tons of extra room!) on the go without bring too bulky or heavy. This Strap Detail Handheld bag would also be perfect for a date night by simply removing the strap, adding a sassy little black dress, and your highest heels. I'm all about some versatility on top of being so super functional.

I love bright colors so much and I also love neutral bags + shoes. You get way more bang for your buck with neutral accessories. My handbag is pewter with gold hardware so it can easily go with silver or gold jewels. I can be just a little OCD when it comes to my jewelry matching my outfit so I love when I find a piece that contains gold and silver because I love them both and I don't want to choose... there's too many adult decisions to make already.

Disney Prep

Since I can remember, I always imagined what it would be like to take your kids to Disney World. Now that I have two little girls, I am beyond excited to see their faces when we get there. Both of my daughters love everything Disney- the princesses, the magic, and the excitement. I feel like they are at the perfect ages (six and four) to truly enjoy how magical Disney World really is! We will be going to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom during our trip. Our day in Magic Kingdom will also be my eighth wedding anniversary with my husband! That night we will be dining at Be Our Guest to celebrate. I cannot wait! We will also get to ride the brand new Frozen ride in Epcot so I anticipate that it will be a big highlight for the girls since they are Elsa and Anna obsessed.

This week, I have been busy planning outfits, finalizing plans, and packing suitcases. I have also been super busy keeping the girls entertained, working from home, and trying to tie up loose ends that I've been putting off... oh and doing laundry because that never ends.

I'll be sharing our exact outfits for the days in the park next week. When I say "our" I mean the girls and me. My husband would just prefer to wear Under Amour, all day and everyday. But today, I'm sharing some of my essentials for our Disney trip. Cute tees from Mouse Apparel, simple accessories, comfy shoes and shorts, mouse ears, sunscreen, and a backpack. I went to Disney World when I was about 12 and Disney Land when I was 20 so it's been awhile (10 years) since I've been to either park. So are there any other items that I must take with me?! I'd love to hear any tips y'all have!

Instagram Roundup

Happy Wednesday! This week is all about prepping for our Disney World vacation, getting some work done, and having lots of fun with the girls! Monday, we went blueberry picking with friends at the local orchard and Tuesday was spent at YMCA splash pad. I think I have most of my outfits ready for our trip and I'm excited to share them with y'all! I am so excited for our trip. I can't believe it's almost here! Disney, here we come.

Below, you will find my most recent Instagram posts with links to what I'm wearing. I have been pulling out some of my favorite items from last year so some similar items are linked, too. It's all about bright colors and staying cool with a hot start to summertime.

Have a great day, y'all!

Real Life

Hey y'all! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend celebrating those amazing men in your life. Today, I am sharing one of those "real life" outfits with y'all. Like I've talked about before, most of the outfits that I share for blog posts are outfits that I have styled to highlight a particular piece of clothing or accessory from a brand or boutique that I am working with. Those outfits I would actually wear but I just haven't actually done so yet in my day to day life.

Well, today is for real. I wore this outfit for getting my daughters' hair cut, grabbing coffee at our favorite spot downtown, and then to a birthday pizza party. When I first bought these shorts, the first thing I thought of to wear with them was neon pink for some reason. I love the way blue/white prints pair with the color pink. My pink tee is only $9 and I own this style of shirt in five colors because it's my favorite! So comfortable, washes up well, and the colors are amazing! I added my go-to bag and shoes to this combo with a fun stack of bangles from Purple Peridot. I am all about wearing bangles when it's hot outside because I can't stand jewelry sticking to my skin. I always find myself gravitating towards bangles this time of year! P.S. my shorts are almost sold out but I really love these shorts too!

Have a happy Monday, everyone!

Currently Loving

Happy Friday! I hope you have all had a wonderful week! Today, I am sharing eight items that I am currently loving. I haven't actually done much shopping lately so I was excited to do a little online browsing to roundup some items that I love for y'all! I've been trying to wear all of the items that I bought in very early spring before I added anything new to my wardrobe. I really love the Longchamp backpack for our upcoming Disney trip! I think it would be perfect to use as a purse in the parks. I also am in love with the You Gotta Regatta print that just popped back up from Lilly Pulitzer. How cute are those sailboats?! You can shop what I'm currently loving below or click the "SHOP" tab above anytime to see what I am adding to my wish list.

Have a wonderful weekend, friends!

Neon Splash

Y'all! I finally own a romper that fits me better than my six year old! But seriously though, usually every single romper I try on is just way too short for this momma and I'm not even that tall (5'5"). Short rompers ride up and are all sorts of uncomfortable! This Racerback Neon Splash Purple and Pink Romper is mom friendly (long enough + comfortable) and so incredibly adorable, too!

Now that I've got your attention, I want to tell y'all about Blue Clover...
Blue Clover was born out of an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion to shop for affordable fashion!   We have made that dream a reality and want to share it with you. We at Blue Clover target to deliver you attractive clothing that is affordable, comfortable and easy to wear.  Like all of you, we too are busy women and understand the demands on your time. Our mission is to sell women’s clothing that is quick and easy while achieving that fashionable look we all enjoy and feel confident wearing.

I absolutely love what they are all about! Who doesn't want to feel confident in their clothing?! Women want to be comfortable and look good at the same time... and not break the bank doing so. My adorable romper is less than $40! It's such a great deal for a quality piece that I plan to wear over and over this summer. It would also pair perfectly with flip flops and a straw hat for a pool cover up, too.

See, mom fashion can be cute, affordable, modest, and stylish.

Instagram Roundup

Happy Wednesday! I hope you all had a chance to check out my #findyourfun project with Crocs that I've been sharing here on the blog the past two days. If not, go check those posts out here and here! I had so much working with Crocs and sharing how to style them from day to night.

We are in full summer break mode over here! Cinnamon rolls for breakfast, spending our days in the sunshine, and eating dinner together as a family because we actually have time to! I'm off work for a few weeks and then I'll be back full-time for summer camp so we are enjoying our relaxing days while we can. Next week, I'll be prepping for our trip to Disney and I'm so excited! So much summer fun.

I've rounded up eight of my recent Instagram photos and provided links to almost all of the items in each picture. I've been living in shorts, the color pink, and I can't stop carrying my straw tote because it goes with every outfit!

Have a great day, y'all!
