Five Favorites .03

five favorites, mom life, mom blogger, style blogger, north carolina blogger, target finds, style on a budget, fall fashion, the best podcast
Hey y'all! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! Today, I'm back at sharing Five Favorites and I hope y'all love these things just as much as I do. This post includes my favorite recent clothing purchase (super budget friendly), one of my favorite podcasts, a great styling tool, my favorite local restaurant, and my hack for keeping my purse organized!

I shared this dress in a couple of weeks ago in this Currently Loving roundup so I had to head to Target that weekend to try it on! Y'all, this is such a flattering sweater dress! I typically don't even like sweater dresses at all because they cling in all of the wrong places but this one is different. It's fitted where you want it to be but a relaxed enough fit that makes you feel comfortable and confident. I think it runs true to size but you could definitely size down if you want it to be fitted. A closet staple for me... and an affordable one!

When my kids went back to school this August, I found myself in the car. A lot! When I'm not working I take them to school and pick them up plus taxi them to their activities. So much car time! I love listening to music but I decided to give a few new podcasts a try to use the time for more than just songs. The Happy Hour with Jamie Ivey was the first podcast that I really got into. She interviews a variety of encouraging people that range from authors, speakers, bloggers, television personalities, musicians, comedians, and so much more. This podcast is always super inspiring and just overall so much fun to listen to. Jamie makes you feel like your her friend, too!

I mentioned this hair dryer in my How I Go Four or More Days Without Washing My Hair post but I wanted to share it again because it's definitely one of my favorite things! I have been using it for about six weeks and it's a total game changer. I have thick, wavy hair and this thing works it's magic on my hair in about 10 minutes. I can go from damp hair to dried and smooth in 10 minutes. A huge time saver! I used to blow dry and straighten my hair in at least double that amount of time... sometimes more. I also use it to refresh my hair after a gym session. A momma must have!

Anytime I'm asked about a great restaurant to go to in the Greensboro, North Carolina area, my first response is always Cugino Forno! It's authentic, wood fired, Italian pizza plus delicious salads and desserts. You order at the counter when you come in and then they deliver the food to your table quickly. We've never waited more than 10 minutes for our food! The food is amazing, the atmosphere is friendly, and the customer service is unmatched. If you are local or ever find yourself in the Triad area, you must make a stop at Cugino Forno for lunch or dinner! They also recently opened their second location in Winston-Salem!

Do you have trouble keeping your purse organized? This used to be such a big problem for me because I am the queen of carrying literally everything but the kitchen sink in my bag. I have always got to be prepared, for anything! I bought this handy little clear pouch back in 2018 and it's been my purse's saving grace ever since. You can read more about how I use it to organize my purse in this post! I throw in all of my "loose" items and they are so much easier to see/find! This little pouch also makes switching purses so much faster. My mom saw mine and immediately had to get one!

Thanks so much for visiting! I hope you have a great day!
