Trying new beauty products is so much fun, especially when they are amazing. I took the three week better skin challenge for Maybelline's Superstay Better Skin foundation. 

According the product description, this foundation reduces the appearance of spots, dullness and unevenness and gives you a brighter, more even and stress-free skin. So, how does my skin look after three weeks?

My skin is much clearer than three weeks ago! The foundation evens out my skin tone and instantly brightens up my face. It also lasts all day long. Most days I put my makeup on at 7 AM and wear it until at least 8 PM. My foundation has stayed put, even through a workout every time I have worn it. I would definitely recommend this foundation to a friend. It works great and it's very affordable. That's a win!

Like any woman, I despise having to shave my legs. especially everyday. So to make life easier {aka no maxi skirts everyday}, Soften Her has developed a product to soften hair + gently exfoliate your skin so you can stay smooth without having to shave as often. 

I tested this product for one week on my legs. I typically have to shave my legs every single day so I shaved them as normal and then used the product. It recommends doing circular rotations for about 15-20 seconds so doing all of your legs can be time consuming. But I did notice that when my hair started to regrow, it was must softer than it was before. The product also works to prevent ingrown hairs as well. While using the product, I did notice that it works well at getting rid of dead skin. 

Overall, I would recommend this product to a friend. If you have sensitive skin, I would suggest trying it on a small area to see how your skin reacts before using it on a large area. I would also recommend that you moisturize your skin well after every use.

review: truself organics

TruSelf Organics sent me their Detox Mask Kit to share, try, and review. I was so excited for this product review because I love doing facial masks. I have super sensitive skin so I was also thrilled to try an organic formula. If it isn't all natural, then my skin usually gets really irritated from a facial mask. 

As always when trying a new product for my skin, I check the label. And just like their website says, there isn't any "bad stuff" in it. All natural ingredients. The detoxifying mask comes in a powdery form and you mix it with the detox solution {purified water, organic apple cider vinegar, epsom salt}.

The mask and detox solution start bubbling up when you mix it together- which means it's working! It smelled a little weird but that's because vinegar just doesn't smell good. I can handle the smell when I know that I'm putting natural ingredients on my face. I applied a thin layer and within minutes it dried. I left the mask on for about 25 minutes then rinsed it off with warm water. My face immediately felt so smooth and clean. Immediate results! And for my fellow sensitive skinned girls {and guys} out there, I had no irritation from this mask. Two days later, my skin still feels so smooth. I'm a fan!

I am so excited to share my latest product review. I was beyond thrilled when I received an e-mail from Shabby Apple to see if I was interested in collaborating with them. I couldn't reply fast enough! I have seen so many gorgeous Shabby Apple items on my favorite Instagrammers and I couldn't wait to style a piece of my own.

I chose this gorgeous Ruffle Front Gramercy Dress because of it's vibrant color and the feminine lace! As soon as I put this dress on, I felt so beautiful. Isn't that how every girl wants to feel when getting dressed?! I know I do. 

I absolutely loved the true-to-size fit of this dress, the flattering waistline, the modest neckline, and the mom friendly length. This dress will be perfect for spring and summer. My Review

I've been using Sole Serum for a full week. A full week of less than comfortable foot wear. I applied the serum as directed when I first felt any foot pain {I kept it handy in my purse} and then within 10-15 minutes, I felt relief thanks to the amazing essential oils and lidocaine. I'm pretty sure it also kept my feet smelling fresher, as well. I would definitely recommend Sole Serum to anyone who wears heels on a regular basis or sore feet from walking/standing a lot during the day. I hope you get great results like I did!

fashion: Shop Eleanor Rae

I was thrilled when a new online boutique contacted me to collaborate with them. The boutique is Shop Eleanor Rae and they just opened within the last month. The style is new vintage on a budget: new items with a vintage vibe for affordable prices. I love the concept of this shop because I am drawn to vintage patterns but I prefer the clothing to be in a modern style. 

It's no secret that I adore polka dots. So I was thrilled to receive this gorgeous polka dot top in the mail. The style is called Rachel Sees Dots. It's a flowy, chiffon top and it's perfect for all seasons. I could wear this top during the summer with shorts or layered in the winter with a vest. Versatility is my favorite! I also love how classic this top is. It has a classic pattern that will never go out of style. This top will be a staple piece in my wardrobe for years to come.

I paired my Rachel Sees Dots top with comfy, distressed denim for a more casual look. I added in some sparkly statement jewels, glittery flats, and my go-to purse. This look was so comfortable and so me.

I am all about cozy, comfortable, and cute. I am a mom of a two year and a four year old so I need to be comfy on a day to day basis! My sweet friend Katie at SaSea Decor does such an amazing job of combining all three c's (cozy, comfortable, cute) into all of her adorable items! 

She sent me this amazing "Thank Full" shirt to style. The color is more of a plum than the picture above suggests. The lighting seemed different in every photo I took of this shirt but it's a gorgeous color in person! The material is so soft and the shirt itself is very comfortable. I could live in this shirt on cool days!

I styled this shirt in two different looks. One look that could be worn for a more casual event such as running errands, going to the pumpkin patch, or to a bonfire with friends. I added some distressed jeans and my leopard slip-ons to complete this comfy cozy look.

This shirt is also versatile enough to be dressed up and I think that's mostly because of the beautiful gold foil lettering! I paired it with a pencil skirt, jewels, and peep toe booties for a dressier look. I would wear this outfit to Thanksgiving lunch or on a date with my husband. I love feeling dressed up but still comfortable at the same time. I am so excited to do another product review for an amazing company, eShakti.  I received an e-mail from eShakti asking if I wanted to participate in a product review for their company. Of course I want to! I received a link full of so many beautiful items to choose from. It was so hard to decide on just one item that I wanted to try out and review but I knew I wanted one of their beautiful dresses. After about an hour of deliberation, this dress won and I am sure you can see why. Isn't it gorgeous?! The color is vibrant. The style is classy. And best of all... it has polka dots! I have always been a big fan of polka dots so this retro dotted look won me over.
