Layer it up with a neutral colored cardigan for the last of the cold weather, leggings, and riding boots. Then wear it with cuffed denim and sandals when the weather warms up. splurge and steal

So I've posted before about how I stick to a wish list for pretty much all of my purchases, especially for more pricey items. I usually only buy 1-2 of those items a month because I stick to a budget. And in case you are wondering, bloggers do get paid and that's where I get most of my spending money. I make a small commission off of items that are purchased from my blog or liketoknow.it via Instagram. That's actually one of the questions I get asked the most by people who know me in real life. I do LOVE fashion + style but this little blog does require a lot of time so I do get "paid" in commission and free products so that I can keep it going. So there you go, full disclosure. {insert emoji smiley face}

I did end up with the black Target wedges that I posted about last week. They were less than $25 {a steal!} and just as cute as the more expensive version. I chose the black because after looking at the shoes in my closet, I realized I didn't have any black summer shoes. I got them in the mail yesterday and I love them! Great quality for the price AND they're comfortable! I also got my splurge item in the mail yesterday too so it was just a happy mail day! I have been eyeing this gorgeous Rebecca Minkoff bag for at least six weeks. It's been on my wish list but I kept debating whether or not I should really spend the money on it since it's more than I typically spend on a bag. After spending quite a bit of time shopping online, I couldn't find anything that I loved as much as it so I just decided to go for it. It's even better in person! The leather is so soft and the tassels are perfect. It also comes with a strap so it can be carried as a clutch or worn as a crossbody. Sorry in advance for carrying this bag on repeat. It's my new favorite!

the look for less

I have been absolutely loving the style of the wedges on the left. I spotted them on the Nordstrom website and added them to my wish list. But they are not in my price range for wedge sandals since they may only get worn about once a week or so when spring and summer roll around. I would personally invest in a good flat leather sandal though. Then I found the wedges on the right while I was shopping this past weekend... and they are $100 less! YAY for a look for less! Plus they are even on sale if you shop them online. I love how similar the straps and buckles are to the more expensive pair AND I love that they are espadrilles!
But how here's the problem. Which color do I get?! I love the tan and the black. Which one would you pick?

I absolutely LOVE the floral + stripe one below and I'm pretty sure I'll have to add it to my closet. Last season, Anthropologie sold a very similar top for a lot more money. recent buys {all under $40!}

I love a good deal and I love a good look for less. How adorable is this purse?! It's a designer dupe and it's just too cute! I also couldn't resist the fun tassel earrings that really make a statement! I don't own anything like them and I can't wait to style them. The clutch is so unique, too and it's a great price. And the striped top is loose and comfortable...just the way I like my tops!
