currently loving

It's currently snowy/icy outside so I am enjoying the warmth of my house + praying that the power doesn't go out! In North Carolina, we get more ice than snow and lots of wintertime power outages. I'm taking advantage of this day at home by cleaning out and decorating for Valentine's Day! I am a BIG fan of holidays. I love any reason to celebrate! Valentine's Day is full of heart shaped everything, sweet stuff, pink + red, flower power, and LOVE! What's not to like about it?! hand stamped with love

Like I've said before, I absolutely love discovering and supporting small businesses. Especially small businesses that hand make their items! I love receiving one-of-a-kind pieces in my mailbox because you know that they were truly made with love. R&E Avenue creates custom jewelry that is literally stamped one letter at a time by hand! The artist even taught herself how to make hand stamped jewelry.

I've always wanted a necklace that was simply dedicated to my children. Jasmine, the artist at R&E Avenue, created the most beautiful mother's necklace for me. I love the simplicity of the circle and the reminder that we will always be connected as mother and daughters.

best earrings ever

A couple of weeks ago, I was browsing through Instagram and someone I follow posted about the "best earrings ever." Of course I had to research further to find out why these earrings were so great. The leather earrings were from a small business called Nickel + Suede and now that I've tried a pair, I can honestly tell you that they truly are the BEST earrings I've ever worn! My ears have always been super sensitive to large and/or heavy earrings so I've avoided them even though I love the look. Nickel + Suede designs lightweight leather earrings in so many gorgeous colors, several sizes, and multiple designs. I wore these signature gold leather earrings {size medium} for three days straight and I even kind of forgot that I was wearing earrings! I'll be ordering another pair ASAP!

This verse has always been one of my personal favorites because it's such a good reminder. It reminds us that our strength is found in Christ and through him, we can do all things... even the hard stuff!

Le Boutique Shop sent me this fun PHIL 4:13 tee that they designed to spread the message that #allthings are possible through God. The shop also sent me these fun poofy pom key chains! They are perfect for dressing up your favorite handbag or just simply using as a key chain for your keys. They are so soft and so cute. I've had one hooked to my bag since I got them in the mail.
