Instagram Roundup

Happy Wednesday! Yesterday was all about animals! Last summer, we had to put one of our dogs to sleep because he was very sick. It was one of the most heartbreaking things I've ever had to do! Since then our other dog has really enjoyed the undivided attention but we always knew we wanted to get her a sibling. I have been stalking our local animal shelter's Facebook page for dogs, specifically a male dog. We saw a dog on there a few weeks ago that I loved but not long after he was already pending adoption. I figured it just wasn't meant to be. Well, Monday night he's back on the page! Apparently his adoption fell through and he was available again. So, the girls and I went to meet him yesterday morning. We were able to take him on a walk and play with him to get to know him better. He was so good with the girls and every playful. I just really felt like he was a good fit for our family. We have filled out our application and our adoption is pending! Hopefully we will be bringing this sweet boy home next week!

We also took Maggie to the vet yesterday and went to the zoo. See, it really was all about animals! The girls and I were able to feed a giraffe at the zoo, we watched a polar bear swim, checked out the gorillas, found the elephants, round the carousel, and played hard in the kid zone. We really had such a good day, one I hope they always remember!

Today, I'm sharing my weekly Instagram Roundup, including a couple outfits from last week. I am obviously really love patterns, especially leopard and stripes right now!

How cute are these leopard slides?! They are also really comfortable and will most likely be my go-to sandals this spring and summer. Leopard is a neutral!

I also find wrap tops to be the most flattering and I love this one! It's a shorter top but it works really great with high waisted denim.

Give me all of the dots! I have always been a big fan of polka dots and I am so happy to see them popping up all over stores this season. They are such a fun print!

I find it pretty much impossible to walk out of Aldi without a fresh bouquet of four dollar blooms. I always find the best roses there!

I now own seven of these eight dollar tees. They are my favorite! I have tried so many more expensive tees (because I love a good basic tee) and these are the best, especially for the price! I find the fit to be true to size.
