Happy Monday! Today is the first day of summer camp where I work... also known as the three busiest weeks of summertime! But it's always so much fun! Last week, I shared my Cozumel Travel Guide Part 1, including all of the details on where we stayed. Today in Part 2, I am going to focus on what we did while we were there, besides relaxing on the beach and eating delicious food!

At our resort, you could borrow snorkel equipment for two hours a day for free. Pretty much every single day we were there, we took advantage of this! Just a few feet from the shore, you can see the most beautiful fish. This was the first time I've been snorkeling in ten years and I forgot how awesome it is. During our trip, we also went on an amazing snorkeling excursion. Cozumel has the second largest reef in the world so our excursion to us by boat from our resort to the reef to snorkel. The water there was incredibly deep but our guide did an excellent job of guiding us and I was pretty excited about wearing a life jacket for this top! Our second stop was less deep area and it was filled with starfish! You could just look through the water and see them everywhere. Then, we went to our third stop, which was my personal favorite. I didn't even snorkel at this top but I did enjoy the four feet deep turquoise water. I have never seen anything like it before! Our tour guides played music, gave us food and drinks, and let us take some time to just enjoy this beautiful area. It was incredible! Our snorkeling excursion was with Explora Caribe and I would highly recommend them!

Kayaks were also free to borrow so we took one out on a little adventure. We were able to get up close to the these rocks below and we found the biggest iguana I've ever seen! This iguana was at least four feet long.

Our ATV adventure wasn't really my top choice at first but I ended up having a great time! Our excursion was through Wild Tours and their staff is great there. Very well trained and super professional! We road on a two seat ATV through the Cozumel jungle, which led us to a bat cave. We were able to jump in and swim in the water in the cave. It was such a cool experience! Afterwards, we got to drive the ATV through a cave. On our way back to the resort from this excursion, we had a our taxi driver top at this $1 beer to go stand on the side of the road. In Mexico, passengers can ride with open containers of alcohol. I had no idea!

On our tenth anniversary, we wanted to do something fun so we decided to go parasailing. We went parasailing ten years ago on our honeymoon but neither of us have been since then so we thought it would be a great way to celebrate. Heights aren't my favorite thing but this surprisingly didn't scare me at all to do, especially when I have someone riding right next to me!

Josh was the only one who went paddle boarding but I had a great time watching him do this! He said it definitely is way harder than it looks. Paddle boards are also available to borrow for free as well!
C O Z U M E L T R A V E L T I P: Bring lots of sunscreen! Also, a pair of water shoes is so good to have as well for going into the ocean and many other activities to protect your feet.
Thank you so much for visiting! Stayed turned for part 3! I hope you have a wonderful day!
