The Greatest Showman and a Trip to Italy

Happy Thursday! This past Saturday, we had a family date to the movies and out to dinner. It feels like forever since we have taken our girls to the movies. Honestly, most movies that are geared towards kids are so boring to me and make me want to go to sleep so I was waiting for a good family friendly film to go see that we would all equally enjoy. I had heard so many good things about the movie The Greatest Showman so we headed to Greensboro to see it. My husband's only request was that we go to a theater that has reclining seats, lol. So I literally just googling reclining theater seats in Greensboro and found Red Cinemas. This particular theater was a great choice! The decor was amazing (see the photo of the gorgeous wine glass chandelier below) plus they served a variety of beer, wine, and espresso. The seats were as soon as they sounded online! This was actually my first reclining, comfy seat movie theater experience and it's going to be really hard to sit in a regular sit at the movies again. I would definitely recommend Red Cinemas!

As for the movie, The Greatest Showman was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time! The acting, the dancing, the music... it was all amazing. The soundtrack has already been on repeat! Several people asked me about taking my kids to this movie (they are seven and five) and I would definitely recommend this as a family friendly movie. My girls were totally engaged during the entire movie and Julianna already knows most of the words to all of the songs. There is a small fight during the movie and some alcohol usage but my girls didn't get frightened or bothering by anything during this movie, which I think is important to note because some PG movies aren't appropriate for them.

After the movie, we headed to Cugino Forno for dinner. This place is literally like taking a quick trip to Italy! The dough is made fresh there and the pizza's are cooked in a wood-fired oven. All of their ingredients comes straight from Italy! We had the Livorno pizza this time (we added ricotta cheese because it's my favorite), the Lucce salad, and cannolis! Everything was so incredibly delicious and tasted so fresh. I am still thinking about those cannolis! I could eat a couple of them all by myself. They also serve gelato in many flavors and have they have an adorable Italian cafe onsite. We got free coffees by showing them our receipt from our dinner purchases! If you are local to Greensboro, you have to try this little piece of Italy because it is amazing!
