the dream center: the human race

As many of you know, I work at The Dream Center. The Dream Center is a faith-based, free after school program offered for under resourced children in the Randleman and Asheboro area. The program offers enrichment to families in grades K-5. Students come Monday-Thursday via the school bus or we pick them up and bring them to our facility located on the North Ridge Church campus. They receive a snack when they get there, participate in team play, receive assistance and homework tutoring, engage in exciting enrichment activities, and get a nutritious dinner. Our students get to come to a safe place after school, get their homework completed, enjoy a snack and dinner, and are mentored daily.

Since our program is offered free of charge to parents, we operate off of donations and grants. And we need your help! The Dream Center will be participating in The Human Race again this year. The funds raised through this will go directly towards our costs for operation during the 2014-2015 school year.
I will be running in The Human Race on March 22 to support The Dream Center. And I need your support! I am looking for people to sponsor me. Anything will help and all donations are greatly appreciated and tax deductible. My personal goal is $1,000. To make a donation, you can contact me directly through Facebook or through e-mail at emily.soto@live.com or you may donate via PayPal on our website: http://thedreamcenter.org/human-race.htm.

Thank you so much for your support!
