style: springing to style

I'm teaming up with my stylish friend, Julia at Glitter and Juls again to show how we styled this floral tunic to transition into spring. We mixed some of our favorite winter pieces with the tunic to make it weather appropriate since it's still cool outside. We found this tunic at Belk in the juniors clearance section but I've linked a similar option below.

To transition into spring, I start by adding color. I absolutely love color. In the winter, I try to add subtle pops of color but during the spring/summer, I wear lots of it! Colorful tunics are a great way to transition your wardrobe over to spring because they are so easy to layer. I layered mine with a denim jacket (a must have item), leggings, and my favorite winter booties. Julia paired her tunic with a great pair of boyfriend jeans to keep her warm but still staying spring colorful with her bright necklace.

review: fevrie fashion

I love discovering and trying new brands. I had actually never heard of Fevrie before they reached out to me to do a collaboration. I checked out the website and I loved what I saw. Everything was so chic and modern. Their clothing brand is inspired by French culture mixed with the spirit of America. Such a fun mix! I was excited to try a piece of clothing that was a little different than what I would normally pick. I like to step out of my comfort zone when it comes to fashion and style.

I chose the Saint Thomas Pant because I don't have anything like them in my closet. I also thought they would be mom friendly and casual enough for me to get a lot of use of out them. They are linen with a stretchy waistband. So comfortable!

For St. Patrick's Day and my oldest daughter's birthday, I paired these pants with an oversized buffalo plaid top, jeweled sandals, and my cognac tote bag. An easy, relaxed look for a busy day.

Good Morning! These are my favorite items from Eleventh Avenue today...

Julianna: fifth birthday party

We celebrated my oldest daughter's 5th birthday this past Sunday with friends and family. Julianna wanted a dress up party so we made it happen! We held the party in one of the buildings at our church. Our church used to be warehouses so it was the perfect space to accommodate a bounce house- a pink and purple castle! We also had a dress up photo booth and dress up your cupcake for everyone to enjoy. I had so much fun prepping for the party and the party was a blast as well!
