Happy Wednesday! I hope you're having a great week so far! I am totally on board with having a long weekend at least once a month. I told my husband that if I ever became president that adding a long weekend to every single month of the year would be first on my agenda. I always feel so much more energized after a long weekend. We could all use an extra day for fun and relaxation! We spent our long weekend in South Carolina visiting Josh's dad. We discovered a few new places in downtown Charleston and I'll be sharing more about our trip here on the blog soon. 

Today, I'm sharing my weekly Instagram Roundup, including what I wore last week. I thought we were well on our way to fall weather but in true North Carolina fashion, summer temperatures are back in full force. I love the changing of seasons but since it's still technically summer, I'm going to embrace the heat and enjoy my sandals while I can!

I love this dress because it's fall inspired colors but sleeveless and cool enough to wear while it's ninety degrees outside. Also, I adore the dots!

Last week, I attended the Boo Hoo | Yahoo Brunch at the Friendly Center in Greensboro. We were given fun swag bags and a copy of Happy Hand Lettering by All She Wrote Notes! Maghon was the sweetest. So funny and kind! I love meeting her!

Cropped denim is one of my favorite ways to transition into fall. I loved pairing these jeans with animal print mules but they would also look super cute with ankle boots!

I love open stitch sweaters, especially in September. I took advantage of the mild weather last week and paired this sweater with a denim skirt and my new mules.

I love him so much... even when he doesn't tell me that I have food in my teeth before we start taking selfies, lol. 

I am loving my new planner. I was even able to customize the color!

Oversized tees and bike shorts are my current favorite mom uniform.
