Favorite April Purchases

Happy Tuesday! I hope your week is off to a great start! Can y'all believe that today is the first day of May?! It seriously felt like January lasted at least 75 days but February, March, and April just flew fly. In honor of the new month, I thought it would be fun to narrow down my favorite purchases from the month of April here on the blog. Being a life and style blogger, I definitely purchase more items in a month than I would if I wasn't running a blog. So, I wanted to share what I purchased in April that I really think is worth your money because I've used it for hand and I can honestly report back on the quality/style/fit of these items.

Kimono | This kimono is definitely my most favorite recent purchase! I've been on the hunt for a great kimono that I could wear casually, dress up, or wear as a swimsuit cover up and this one is perfect. Pictures just don't do this kimono justice. It's so pretty in person!

Bag | As soon as I saw this bag, I knew it was perfect for vacation. The colors are so fun! I have already used this bag to add a fun pop of color and I can't wait to take it to Mexico!

Rug | I have been adding pops of pink to my home decor and this rug is definitely my favorite home purchase that I have made lately. It's actually an outdoor rug but it's so soft and works perfectly indoors as well. I love how it brings together my living room!

Shirt | This classic gingham shirt is timeless and I love anything I can wear for years without it going out of style. This shirt fits true to size and is the perfect lightweight material for summer.

Sandals | These sandals are my favorite budget friendly pair that I have purchased recently. The quality is amazing for the price and the jewel details are gorgeous. These sandals fit true to size.

Skirt | This skirt is one of my pricier purchases of the month but I have been wanting a new denim skirt since last year when I couldn't find one that fit the way I wanted it to. I personally sized up two sizes in this skirt to get the fit I was looking for. I know I will be wearing this skirt so much!

Lipstick | I've never really been a lipstick kind of girl. I usually go for lip stains that last all day or a gloss but this lipstick has changed my opinion of lipstick. This formula actually stays on! I can apply in the morning, eat, drink, and not need to reapply until the afternoon. This color is so beautiful! This shade "backtalk" is my new go-to. I also recently bought "naked" and I love it too!

Pants | Last spring, Madewell had a super similar pants but they sold out so fast that I never got my hands on a pair. So, when I saw this pair, I ran to the dressing room to try them on. They are linen and have a cropped wide leg. I typically wear a 27/4 and the size small fits me perfectly. The stripes are navy blue and these pants have pockets. Super affordable, too!
