Hey there! Today is all about styling a blanket scarf for fall. Throwing on a blanket scarf when it's mid-winter is so easy but it takes a little more creativity during the fall! It just doesn't even feel like fall consistently around here just yet. I love a good fashion challenge and I absolutely love this cozy blanket scarf from ilymix! Scarves are my substitute for statement necklaces when the weather is cool. You can find so many gorgeous scarves, sunglasses, jewelry, hats, and so much more at ilymix!
I styled this gray, cream, and blush blanket scarf (that I love so much) with a faux suede skirt, lightweight gray sweater, and taupe ankle boots to handle the 75 degree November temperatures in North Carolina! The way I tied my scarf is pretty much the way I always wear a blanket scarf but you can also wear it as a cape, too and tons of other ways as well. This type of scarf is so versatile!
Do you feel like blanket scarves are too bulky for you? Cut the scarf in half (diagonally) and share the other half with a friend. It's like two scarves for the price of one! I've also cut my scarf in half and then cut the other half in half again to make two mini blanket scarves for my daughters! They love dressing like mommy!
