Typically in my life, I am a major rule follower. It there's a sign that says not to do something, I promise, I won't. If it's the express checkout, I won't ever have more than 20 items. When I was in school, I rarely got in trouble because I was so afraid of breaking the rules. I love rules for basic safety and social conduct.
However, fashion rules are meant to be broken. No black and brown. Crazy. You shouldn't mix patterns. Insane {have you seen how cute polka dots and stripes are together?!}. Don't wear white after Labor Day. Absolutely bizarre. My mom used to put away my white dress shoes after Labor Day. I thought it was the silliest thing and I used to get them back out and wear them anyway.
I bought these white boyfriend skinny jeans on clearance while I was out shopping on Monday. I'm sure they were sent to the clearance rack because it's just oh so close to Labor Day. I tried them on and loved them. I immediately started planning in my head what kind of outfits I could put together with them because I have been trying to find a good fitting pair of white pants. These cute jeans will be in rotation year round {as long as I don't ruin them first}.
I plan to wear white before + after Labor Day with lots of colors and some pattern mixing, too. Be a fashion rule breaker and have fun getting dressed.
