fashion: 2014 Closet Remix Challenge

On Instagram, I'm participating in the 2014 Closet Remix Challenge. The goal is to remix clothing, shoes, and accessories that you already have to create new outfits without buying anything new. I'm taking this challenge one month at a time but my goal is at least 3 full months to start with and then I will go from there. This challenge promotes creativity and best of all, saves money. It's no secret; I love to shop. But instead of spending money on clothes and things I don't need, I plan to use our extra money to go towards fun family outings and paying down some bills. I will only be purchasing necessities during the no shopping period. I'm posting my daily outfit remixes on Instagram each day. I'm excited to see how this challenge goes and I'm thankful my Instagram friends who are there to support each other during this challenge!
