style: hashtag o-o-t-d

Saturday was an incredibly fun day! I was able to meet up with six ladies that I have met on Instagram via our fashion/style posts for brunch at Print Works Bistro. What do you wear to an event with stylish ladies?! I chose my favorite dress to continue to my trend of wearing white after Labor Day. We chatted about our families and jobs, laughed more than I have in a long time, and we talked in hashtags. It was so fun spending a few hours with other girls who enjoy the same hobby as me- sharing style inspiration. I have met so many encouraging ladies on Instagram and I have had so much fun connecting with them over style, mommyhood, and faith. style: it's still summer

I have done some fall shopping because I just love fall. I love the changing of the seasons. It always gives me a new and fresh perspective. I think God designed designs for a time of renewal for all His creations. But it's still summer in North Carolina. It's humid. It's in the eighties and summer is planning on sticking around for awhile. I am putting some of my current summer wardrobe favorites to a lot of use for the last month of summer. But don't worry, the bright colors won't be going anywhere when fall rolls around.
