Five Favorites .09

style on a budget, five favorites, mom style, nc blogger, north carolina blogger
Hey y'all! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! We celebrated my dad's birthday, spent some time with my mom, and I went to a double baby shower. It was a busy but great weekend here!

Today, I'm sharing five of my current favorite things! This edition includes my current favorite funny podcast, my go-to shoes, my favorite cardigan, and a couple of fantastic beauty products that I am currently using and loving.

I listen to mostly faith-based, inspirational and motivational kind of podcasts but I was really looking for something funny to mix in. Well, I found it! Correct Opinions with Trey Kennedy is super funny and I love his sense of humor. It's also a pretty family friendly listen as well. I'm totally comfortable listening to it when my kiddos (they are nine and seven) are in the car... even if they don't really get all of his jokes. I have laughed out loud so many times while listening!

I bought these sneakers back during the summer for our Disney trip and I had no idea how much use I was really going to get out of them. I bravely never even tried them out before I took them on our trip to Disney, where I walked about 20,000 steps five days in a row. Y'all, these shoes are incredibly comfortable! Zero discomfort, even with walking long distances. They are also perfect for wearing with jeans, skirts, dresses, etc. They also fit true to size. The perfect everyday sneaker!

I had been wanting to try this lip sleeping mask for the longest time but I was honestly just too cheap to buy it. But, it's totally worth the money! I've been using it for over a month, every single night, and it barely looks like I've made a dent in it. A little bit goes a long way and it comes with a handy applicator. I love the way it makes my lips feel! It's now a part of my bedtime routine.

This gorgeous cardigan is my favorite item in my closet right now! I have been wearing it once or twice a week since I got it. The color is so pretty and the quality is amazing! So far, I've styled it with a graphic tee, a body suit, and with a turtleneck. Such a fun statement piece for my wardrobe!

I have been using Shape Tape for a couple of years and I still like it but I wanted to try out a new product. I have been loving this concealer! It's not as thick as the Shape Tape but I like the way it goes on better. It's smooth and the container/applicator are way better. I feel like it doesn't sink into the creases under my eyes like the Shape Tape did but the Shape Tape gives more coverage. I really like both products and think they both worth great; it just depends on what you are looking for in a concealer. I'm personally going to stick with this Hourglass one for now.

Thanks so much for visiting! I hope you have a great day!
