Instagram Roundup

Happy Wednesday! I hope your week is going great so far! We are fully back into the swing of things with work, school, and dance. I love a good routine during the week! Back in August when I began intermittent fasting (click here to read about my first 90 days), I decided to just do a whole overhaul on my morning routine. I mean, if you are already giving up food in the morning, why not just change everything up?! Well, it's nothing really drastic but it's helped me get my day started better. I set my alarm for 10 minutes before I need to get out of bed and check any text messages that I might have missed after 10pm because I don't touch my phone after that (mostly because we are pretty much always in bed by then). Then I get up and open the curtains, brush my teeth, wash my face, and apply moisturizer. By this point, I'm awake enough to mostly function so I make my bed. It's a big deal that I've been making my bed since August because this is something that I was never programmed to do before. Making the bed takes maybe 2-3 minutes but it makes me feel better and less anxious. When I walk back into my bedroom in the evening and I see a bed that has been made, I feel so much less stressed out. So, if you are looking for a simple way to reduce some of your stress or anxiety, I highly recommend making your bed each morning.

Today, I'm sharing my weekly Instagram Roundup including simple and easy yet put together mom outfits from last week. I'm all about making life has simple as possible right now!

This is what I wore for our road trip back home last week. This is my go-to mom uniform! Jeans, sneakers, and a comfy top! I have also been wearing this headband pretty much every day.

You don't need a ton of accessories to look put together. Again, another easy outfit recipe. Jeans, oversized sweater, and fun shoes. Easy!

I may have bribed them with Sour Patch Kids to take these photos for me but I know it will be fun to look back at them when they are older!

Hello, cozy new sweatshirt! This one is so super soft and leggings friendly. It's nice enough to dress up with skinny jeans and heels to wear on out or completely casual with leggings and sneakers for running errands with the kiddos. I love versatile pieces!

After getting my kids ready for church on Sunday, I had literally 15 minutes to get myself together and get out the door. When I don't know what to wear, I always go for either stripes or black. Those "I need to get ready fast" or "I have nothing to wear" days are much easier with a neutral wardrobe full of closet staples that you love!

On Saturday, I thrift store hopped with my mom and ended up going to five different stores. I found so many great treasures and only spent about $20. This old VHS copy of Beauty and the Beast was only 40 cents! I'm starting to collect some of my old Disney favorites. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them yet so stay tuned.

Thank you so much for visiting! Have a great day!
