Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend! I'll be sharing more about our weekend in tomorrow's post but for today, it's all about styling a bodysuit! A bodysuit is something that I probably haven't worn since I was a baby. Haha! Clothing that is form fitting is something that I don't gravitate towards because honestly, it's out of my comfort zone.
I really liked the idea of a bodysuit and I ordered it to try with my overalls because I thought it would be great for wearing with them and it definitely is. But, I didn't want to just stop there, I wanted it to be a more versatile piece in my wardrobe so that I could get a lot of use out of it so I paired with my favorite high rise denim and heeled mules. I wore the exact outfit below last Friday and I actually really loved it. Below, I am also sharing six more ways that you can wear a bodysuit. From this styling session, I learned that a bodysuit really is the perfect layering piece for fall and winter. It's so easy to layer and create so many new looks with one base outfit!
1. The Base Outfit | Bodysuit + High Rise Denim + Heeled Mules
I wore this outfit for a mild fall day when no layers were necessary. I love the simplicity of it!
2. Add a blazer.
I love how the blazer makes this look a little more dressy and put together while still remaining casual. I think this blazer would look great with a black bodysuit too!
3. Add a moto jacket.
The moto jacket keeps the look edgy and modern. I think this outfit would also be great if you swapped out the mules for leopard flats.
4. Add a cardigan.
A cozy layer on top of this look makes it softer and more feminine. You can't never go wrong with a cardigan and that's why I love them so much!

5. Add a plaid flannel.
I love wearing a plaid flannel shirt as a "cardigan" for an easy layer to add some warmth to my outfit.
6. Add a plaid flannel plus a jacket.
I am all about layers this time of year because the morning can start out so cold and then it warms up a lot by noon. Add a jacket on top of the plaid flannel, adds more interest and warmed to the look.
7. Add a bold print.
Throwing on a bold print over this simple outfit creates a statement. I love this bold leopard layered over this look. I think this outfit might be my favorite!
Thanks so much for visiting! Have a great day!
