Target Finds

Hey y'all! I hope you had a good weekend! Honestly, ours was kind of sad. We had to make the tough decision to put our dog, Toby, to sleep. He was almost ten years old and not in good heath anymore. He was miserable even though he kept such a sweet disposition. We will miss our sweet Toby boy so much but I'm at peace knowing that he isn't suffering anymore. 

After our sad morning, we had to get out of the house on Saturday and go to some of our favorite places. We picked up flowers (and cookies) from the farmers' market, went to Target and Old Navy, enjoyed mimosas, and ate dinner one of our favorite places at the request of my youngest daughter. While I was at Target, I tried on a four pieces that I had seen online. I ended up loving them all so I thought I would share a mini try on session here with y'all! For size reference, I am 5'5" and typically wear a size small (sometimes a medium if it runs small).

J A C K E T | The first item I tried on was this great faux leather moto jacket that I also shared in last week's currently loving post. It did not disappoint! It's such a great faux leather option and it's so well made. The price tag is great too, at under $40! I tried on a size small and I loved the fit so I would definitely say that this jacket runs true to size plus it also comes in black.

T O P | The pretty bow details on this top is what really caught my eye! I'm not typically a huge fan of yellow but I really like this shade. I'm wearing a size small and it fits true to size.

This top would be super cute with a pair of shorts or jeans now or it could be paired with a moto jacket as seen below. 

C A R D I G A N | I'm always a fan of pink and I loved the style of this sweater when it say it on the Target website. It reminded me of a much more expensive cardigan that I also loved but this $20 price tag on this one is much more appealing to me! I tried on the size XS/S and it fit just the way I like my cardigans, slightly oversized. It also comes in olive and black!

T A N K | I personally think there's so such thing as too many striped tops in your closet. Stripes are timeless, especially when they are black and white! I actually don't a striped mock neck tank like this so I definitely took this one home with me. I'm trying on a size small and it fits true to size.

I also tried the tank on paired with the cardigan and I absolutely loved the way they looked together. You could wear this combo with shorts like I did for this try on or with skinny jeans when the weather gets cooler. I think this tank would look super cute with high waisted denim!

C A R D I G A N | So, the last item isn't something I tried on in the store, it's an online discovery while preparing this post. I bought the cardigan in the photo below from a different retailer last year and it was my absolute favorite all season long. It sold out quickly, too! Well, now Target has their own version this season and it comes in four gorgeous colors.
