Target Try Ons and Favorites

Happy Thursday! I hope you are all having a wonderful week! I have been on the struggle bus with allergies. Go away, pollen! Yesterday morning, we woke up 30 minutes late and I had forgotten to pick out clothes for the girls the night before. Ahhh! I get so much anxiety about being late for anything, especially getting the kids to school. But, we powered through our morning routine at a lightning speed and momma took the kids to school in her pajamas... for the second morning in a row, lol. Yep, I'm that mom who drops her kids off to school in her pajamas. At least the kids looked nice and were on time! Haha! Just keeping it real over here.

Today, I'm a few try ons that I did at Target recently plus I'm sharing some new items that I am loving from their Universal Thread collection. I had hoped to try more of these items on but my size was gone in many of my favorites or my store didn't carry some of these items. Oh and I was in the dressing with two very busy with little girls who didn't want to be in the dressing room. The joys of shopping with children! There's just never a dull moment.

Like I mentioned above, sizes were super limited at my Target so I grabbed this shirt in the only size they had available, which was a large. I typically wear a small or medium so I would definitely say this top runs small. The length of it is short but it works well with high rise denim. Despite it running small, it was my favorite item I tried on! The jeans fit true to size and were very comfortable.

This dress runs small as well, especially if you have any hips like I do. I typically wear a small in dresses but this one was too small in me in my normal size. My store didn't have a medium and I debated on whether or not to even include this one because the fit was off. However, if you get the right size, this is a great dress! It has pockets and the material is super soft. I think the medium would have been perfect for me.

This top isn't normally something I would pick but I love the lavender color and the flutter sleeves are very feminine. I tried this top on a in medium. This top is also pretty short so it worked well with these jeans that I tried on since they have a high rise.

I have tried this top on before but I loved it more this time when I sized up to a medium and tied it in the front. It is slightly sheer but is totally fine with the right color nude bra or a cami underneath.

I loved this gorgeous dress but again, I needed a bigger size. I tried on the small but it was a little snug in the hips on me. I think I would definitely try it again in a medium because it such a great throw on and go maxi dress for summertime.

I love a good wrap top! This super affordable one is great quality for the price and fits true to size. Perfect with jeans or shorts!

And more of my favorites from the Universal Thread collection at Target:

Oh and the last item that is still one of my very favorite Target finds in this candle. It smells so much like Capri Blue that you can buy at Anthropologie but it's a fraction of the piece. The scent is amazing!

Thank you so much for visiting! Have a great day!
