Spring in February

Happy Thursday! Goodness gracious, it's been a busy week but thankfully it's been the good kind of busy. I got to meet my sweet friend Kailey (the friend who inspired me to post my very first #ootd on Instagram) for coffee and to finalize plans for an upcoming baby shower that we are planning together. It was a bright spot in a super dreary and chilly morning! I'm so thankful for good friends that you can share your heart with. They are truly priceless!

This past Sunday, it was literally eighty degrees in February and I apologize for the blindingly white legs but when it's that warm, you have to wear a dress to church without tights (because tights are the most uncomfortable invention ever). I also just had to wear these new wedges again! They are also available in taupe and black (and I might need another pair). The sizing is true to size and they are easy to walk in so I think they are the perfect height plus they are under $60. They are also great for pairing with your favorite swing dress for spring! Have I sold you on them yet?!

The Carly dress from Lularoe is by far my favorite swing dress because it's so forgiving and flattering. I love the high low hem! I normally wear a size small in dresses but I can wear an XXS in this style from Lularoe. I threw on my classic denim jacket to complete the look. I bought this one from Old Navy last year and lived in it last spring. It's such great quality for the price and one of my favorite Old Navy finds.
