Instagram Roundup

Happy Wednesday! I hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day! My husband got me the prettiest pink roses and these gorgeous blush pink earrings from Nickel & Suede. The best of brand of earrings ever! They are so lightweight and comfortable to wear! 

Today, I'm sharing my weekly Instagram Roundup but first I want to share a little background information for anyone who is new around here. I started this blog back in 2009 when I was pregnant with my oldest daugther (who will be turning seven next month). I used my blog to document my pregnancy and special family moments. I continued to use it as a pregnancy diary with my second daughter but I also incorporated maternity outfits that were mostly created from thrift store finds. After Olivia was born, I was stuck in a fashion rut of old yoga pants and t-shirts because my old clothes didn't fit and I was a stay at home mom. One of my friends (who has become a close friend now) used to post her outfits of the day and I love seeing what she was wearing each day! I decided to start putting more effort in my daily looks and posting them on Instagram. I really didn't think anyone would really care about what I was wearing but it was more about accountability for me and the motivation to get myself together each day. I started using hashtags and following other ladies on Instagram who also shared a passion for style. About two years, I really decided to take this blogging thing more seriously and starting collaborating with businesses as well as joining rewardStyle. I have been so blessed to meet so many amazing women and connect with so many wonderful businesses from this hobby. Thank you so much for following along as I pursue my lifelong obsession with playing dress up!
