sunday snaps

#sundaysnaps | week in review

Olivia and I had a dessert date at our favorite local place. This pumpkin chocolate chip cake was so good!

I never have bare nails but it can get time consuming having to paint them often. I'm too cheap to go to the nail salon on a regular basis so I was so excited to try this new Essie Gel Setter top coat. My last manicure lasted about 8 days before it showed any signs of chipping! Also, this Sally Hansen Insta-Dri polish is seriously the best. One coat is all you need and it really does dry super fast. It's also super affordable!

These fun flowers were apart of the centerpieces my boss and I put together for a regional meeting at our work this week. We also scattered colorful pom pom balls and candy on the table.

Friday night, my friends and husband surprised me at dinner! I kind of knew what my husband was up to but I had no idea where we were going and who would be there. I am so thankful for amazing friends and a wonderful husband! Thanks to my sweet friend, Pam for helping coordinate!

Saturday morning I woke up to all of these fun birthday goodies that were picked out by my husband and my daughters. They know me so well! And isn't that confetti Starbucks mug the perfect birthday gift?!

We spent the rest of my birthday weekend in the North Carolina mountains exploring Blowing Rock, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Linville Falls. The weather was chilly, sunny, and beautiful!

Sunday morning we hiked to Linville Falls and I was just at a loss for words at how beautiful this place was. No photo could ever do it justice. You just have to see it and experience it for yourself. I want to go back again soon!

And a GIANT thank you to this guy! He made me birthday oh so special and it was even better than I ever could have imagined. Turning 30 isn't so bad.

The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. Psalm 19:1
