Happy Friday! I hope you've had a great week! Mine has been so full and so busy! But, full of good kinds of busy things and a whole lot of adulting. The busy doesn't stop because this weekend is our first dance competition of the season! I can't wait to see my girls take the stage!

Today, I'm sharing my weekly roundup of what I'm Currently Loving and this week's picks are giving me serious spring fever! I absolutely love shopping this time of year. Gimme all of the dresses, happy colors, and feminine styles! I love spring dressing!

Which of this week's picks is your favorite?!

1. P I N K  D R E S S | A budget friendly dress with pockets?! Yes, please! I am currently trying to decide between getting this dress in this pretty rose pink color or basic black. It would be so cute paired with a denim jacket and white sneakers for spring!

2. S N E A K E R S | Speaking of white sneakers, they are going to continue to be a closet staple for me during the upcoming warm months. They are so good with everything, including dresses, skirts, jeans, shorts, etc. I am loving this pair! They also come in other great colors as well. I've added them to my wish list because I don't think I can have enough white sneakers in my closet!

3. F L O R A L  T E E | I absolutely love floral graphic tees and the vintage vibe of this was is so fun. Bonus: this tee is super budget friendly! I love it!

4. S H O R T S | I pretty much live in jean shorts when it's warm outfit. They are a wardrobe essential for me! I wanted this pair last year but I had already bought a pair by a different brand so I held off. This pair is absolutely an investment but I feel like as much as I wear jean shorts, I'll get my monies worth out of them. I'm hoping to get them soon!

5. S T R A W  T O T E | A straw tote is a must have for me! I love that it's neutral and goes with everything. This one is budget friendly and really the only tote you will need this spring and summer. I already own a super similar one that I have been loving for three years!

6. S T R I P E D  T E E | Every closet must have a black and white striped tee. It's essential! I really love a good basic and my striped tee needs to be upgraded... with this one.

7. C A N V A S   B A G | How fun is this tie dye bag?! I love the colors! I own and love a canvas tote like this in leopard print. The size and quality are perfect!

8. L E O P A R D  D R E S S | I saw this affordable dress in store last weekend and I'm here to report that it's even better in person. It's such a pretty print and I love the style! The fit is a little big so I would stay with your regular size or size down one. This is so cute to transition into spring!

Thanks so much for visiting! I hope you have a great weekend!

Instagram Roundup .202

Hey y'all! I hope you are having a great week so far! Yesterday, was not an average Tuesday. I got to attend the 8th annual See For Yourself tour with The Heart of North Carolina Visitors Bureau! We explored our county for the day, starting at the North Caroina Zoo, ziplining at Richland Creek Zipline, a stop at The Liberty Showcase, a tour of Harvest House, testing out delicious apple treats at Millstone Creek Orchards, and a latte from Rocca's Bakery! It was such a fun morning!

Today, I'm sharing my weekly Instagram Roundup, including the outfits that I wore last week. The weather is starting to feel like spring and I am so excited for it. Bring on the sunshine and flowers!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a great day!

Five Favorites .09

style on a budget, five favorites, mom style, nc blogger, north carolina blogger
Hey y'all! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! We celebrated my dad's birthday, spent some time with my mom, and I went to a double baby shower. It was a busy but great weekend here!

Today, I'm sharing five of my current favorite things! This edition includes my current favorite funny podcast, my go-to shoes, my favorite cardigan, and a couple of fantastic beauty products that I am currently using and loving.

I listen to mostly faith-based, inspirational and motivational kind of podcasts but I was really looking for something funny to mix in. Well, I found it! Correct Opinions with Trey Kennedy is super funny and I love his sense of humor. It's also a pretty family friendly listen as well. I'm totally comfortable listening to it when my kiddos (they are nine and seven) are in the car... even if they don't really get all of his jokes. I have laughed out loud so many times while listening!

I bought these sneakers back during the summer for our Disney trip and I had no idea how much use I was really going to get out of them. I bravely never even tried them out before I took them on our trip to Disney, where I walked about 20,000 steps five days in a row. Y'all, these shoes are incredibly comfortable! Zero discomfort, even with walking long distances. They are also perfect for wearing with jeans, skirts, dresses, etc. They also fit true to size. The perfect everyday sneaker!

I had been wanting to try this lip sleeping mask for the longest time but I was honestly just too cheap to buy it. But, it's totally worth the money! I've been using it for over a month, every single night, and it barely looks like I've made a dent in it. A little bit goes a long way and it comes with a handy applicator. I love the way it makes my lips feel! It's now a part of my bedtime routine.

This gorgeous cardigan is my favorite item in my closet right now! I have been wearing it once or twice a week since I got it. The color is so pretty and the quality is amazing! So far, I've styled it with a graphic tee, a body suit, and with a turtleneck. Such a fun statement piece for my wardrobe!

I have been using Shape Tape for a couple of years and I still like it but I wanted to try out a new product. I have been loving this concealer! It's not as thick as the Shape Tape but I like the way it goes on better. It's smooth and the container/applicator are way better. I feel like it doesn't sink into the creases under my eyes like the Shape Tape did but the Shape Tape gives more coverage. I really like both products and think they both worth great; it just depends on what you are looking for in a concealer. I'm personally going to stick with this Hourglass one for now.

Thanks so much for visiting! I hope you have a great day!

Happy Friday! Who is ready for the weekend?! I know I am! This has been such a busy week. I also can't believe February is practically over. January lasted forever and February blew by. March is going to be such a busy month for me but I am really looking forward to what's to come!

Today, I'm sharing my weekly roundup of what I'm Currently Loving! This week's picks are actually all neutral pieces (yes, leopard is totally a neutral). With springtime upon us, I can get tempted to add in more color to my outfits but I really love a great foundation of neutral items in my closet that are easy to mix and match. I love to add in some color with my accessories, like typing a fun scarf on my bag or wearing a colorful earrings.

Which of this week's picks is your favorite?!

1. B O D Y S U I T | I am loving the cut and style of this bodysuit! A bodysuit is definitely a wardrobe staple for me. This one comes in two classic colors: white and black. It would be great under overalls, with high waisted skinny jeans, or paired with a skirt.

2. R I N G S | I absolutely love dainty rings and this set is so pretty! I buy a lot of jewelry from Madewell and I find that it holds us so well. I personally don't have issues with anything turning. Tip: don't store your jewelry (particularly costume jewelry) in your bathroom because of the moisture.

3. J A C K E T | How cozy does this jacket look?! This is such a great jacket option for this time of the year when you don't need your super heavy winter coat anymore. I am really loving this fun leopard print, too!

4. S A N D A L S | Gold sandals are my favorite kind of sandals. I had a pair of inexpensive gold sandals last year and I literally wore them out because I reached for them so much. They go with everything! I love this leather pair and I think the price is super reasonable for the quality.

5. S W I M S U I T | I've shared this same swimsuit before in a gorgeous leopard print but I just realized that it also comes in black! I already have a leopard print swimsuit that I love so that's why I didn't purchase this suit before but a black swimsuit is on my list for this season. I think this is the one I need for this summer!

6. D R E S S | This super budget friendly leopard print dress is just so pretty! I have a similar silk leopard print dress that I have had so much fun styling. It's a very versatile piece for your closet! Dress it up with heels or dress it down with sneakers and a denim jacket. You could also wear a tee on top so that it functions like a skirt. So many options!

7. E A R R I N G S | My favorite style of earrings is definitely hoops! I try to mix it up and always go back to hoop earrings. I am loving this gorgeous pair of lightweight (and affordable) hoops! The beaded detail makes them different than any of the other pairs of hoops that I already own. They come gold, silver, and rhodium options!

8. H O O D I E | I ordered this hoodie while I was putting this post together! It's only $15 and comes in four different colors. I picked this gray one because it's a great neutral. These hoodies are the perfect lightweight layer! So comfy!

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you have an awesome weekend!

Hey y'all! I hope you are having a great week! Today, I'm sharing my weekly Instagram Roundup, including my outfits from last week. You will notice that there aren't as many outfits this week because I was living in workout gear and comfy clothes last week. We had a weird week with being out of school/work for Presidents' Day and then we had a our first snow (and probably only) snow of the season. So yep, I lived in my coziest clothes while we enjoyed some time off last week!

These boots just make this outfit for me. I really love the combination of these leopard ankle boots with my moto jacket! So edgy and fun.

An oversized flannel shirt with pockets?! Yes, please! This shirt has been my most worn top this season and it's still on repeat. I sized up to wear it with leggings, too.
