Yesterday was Julianna's first day of kindergarten. How did this day arrive so fast?! When she was just a baby, I always wondered what it would be like to have a kindergartner. That just seemed like such a big kid to me. But now that I have one, it feels different. She looked so tiny walking down the hallway. 

Julianna had a wonderful first day of school. She had a big smile on her face when I picked her up and that made me so happy. She was completely exhausted because it was a longer day than she is used to so she went to bed early. We are so excited for a fun school year full of learning and new adventures!

kindergarten, here we come

How did this time come so soon?! Julianna will be heading to kindergarten on Monday! She is more than ready and is so excited to start this new adventure. Mommy is emotional because this just feels like such a big step. It's bittersweet, for sure. Letting your baby girl go to "big kid school" is harder than I thought it would be. But I am thankful that she will be a wonderful school with a great teacher. That definitely makes the transition much easier. Thursday night, we went to open house and she was so excited to see her teachers and her new classroom.
