Happy Friday and Happy First Day of April! I didn't mean to take a few weeks off from my weekly posts but life got busy. In March, we celebrate my oldest daughter's 12th birthday! I started my blog when I was pregnant with her so I've been blogging for about 13 years now. This space is definitely changed a lot over the years and even though I don't spend as much time here anymore, it's still a special spot for me. It's so fun to look back and see how my style has changed over the years!

Today, I'm sharing my weekly roundup of what I'm Currently Loving. As I'm transitioning my wardrobe into my favorite time of the years *warm weather* I've been cleaning out and adding in some new fresh pieces to fill in gaps in my closet. I've also stepped out of my closet zone with some of those additions that I will be sharing in this week's picks!

Which of this week's picks is your favorite?!

1. S H O R T S | I love loving the length of these shorts! I've found the perfect (mom friendly) length for me is a 4-5 inch inseam. These have a 5 inch inseam and a high rise... my favorite!

2. B E L T  B A G | My favorite Instagrammer, @karlareed, just released a belt bag in collaboration with Able! She thoughtfully designed this bag to be functional and made for everyone. I can't wait to get my hands on one!

3. T E E | I'm currently wearing this comfy tee as a I type! It's soft and oversized so it's perfect for throwing on with leggings or bike shorts. It runs big so you can size down at least one size and still get an oversized fit.

4. S N E A K E R S | These high top sneakers are definitely out of my comfort zone but I've been wanting to try a pair for awhile now. I decided to try this pair of retro Converse in an off white (parchment) color. They actually already arrived but I accidently ordered the wrong size... not paying attention that it was men's sizing. My new pair is on the way and I can't wait to style them!

5. H EE L S | I also just added these heels to my warm weather shoe lineup. I have been needing to upgrade my heels (my favorite pair is literally falling apart) and I thought this pair would go with everything! Madewell never fails me with their shoes!

6. J U M P S U I T | This jumpsuit was definitely an out of my comfort zone perfect as well. I saw it on Karla Reed (as mentioned above) and absolutely loved the style. It's so soft and an amazing budget friendly find! It fits true to size; go with your regular dress size for the best fit.

7. E A R R I N G S | How darling and dainty are these earrings?! I share my earring collection with my girls so I love finding pairs that we will all enjoy. I love the flowers!

8. S K I R T | This skirt is absolutely beautiful! I love the different patterns and colors. I definitely don't own anything like this but I'm adding it to my wish list!

Happy Friday! I hope you've had a wonderful week! I feel like this is a weather blog sometimes because I find myself talking about the weather pretty much every single week. Haha! I guess what we wear does have a lot to do with the weather. And... speaking of weather, I feel like we have experienced all four seasons just this week. It's been super warm, windy, cold, rainy, cloudy, and sunny. We've had it all! It's been kind of hard to get dressed this week because you never know what you're going to get.

Today, I'm sharing my weekly roundup of what I'm Currently Loving! I have so many things on my spring wish list right now. I am starting to go through my spring items to see what I need to let go of an what I need to add to my warm weather wardrobe. Over the past few years, I've really tried to build of a closet of classic pieces so I find myself letting go of less because I still love my closet staples!

Which of this week's picks is your favorite?!

1. P A N T S | I have been pinning similar styles of pants over on Pinterest and this pair caught my eye from Madewell. I don't already own anything like them but they look so comfortable! I can envision styling them with a white button up shirt, gold sandals, and a straw bag.

2. S W I M S U I T | How darling is this swimsuit?! I love the mixed prints and the adorable tie details on the shoulders. It's so cute! We are officially headed to St. John at the end of June so I am currently on the hunt for cute suits for our trip. I think I need this one!

3. D R E S S | I bought my first nap dress last summer in a pretty floral print in celebration of my free flower stand. I wore it as often as possible and yes, I did take a nap in it! I am loving this classic black version. It would look great with white sneakers and a denim jacket for early spring and heeled sandals for warm days. P.S. it has pockets!

4. S N E A K E R S | Speaking of white sneakers, this is my favorite pair! I have four pairs of white sneakers and I reach for these the most because they are the most comfy. I love wearing them all year round with jeans, shorts, dresses, and skirts. They fit true to size.

5. B A G | I bought a super similar version of this bag several years ago and I always look forward to pulling it back out every spring. It's such a great neutral bag that goes with everything! Also, it's a budget friendly Target find!

6. S H O R T S | These shorts look like the most comfortable pair I've ever seen! I love the length and of course, the pockets. They also come in lots of color options!

7. S H I R T | This shirt is so fun! I love the colors and the unique details. I am also thinking of sizing up in it to wear a swimsuit coverup. I think it would be so cute!

8. J E A N S | My very favorite style of jeans now come in a wide leg version and I am so tempted to give them a try. I am currently loving wide leg pants and this would be great paired with wedges.

Happy Friday! I hope you've had a great week! It's been another busy one and I'm definitely looking forward to the weekend. I'm hoping a visit to favorite local vineyard and maybe we will also build a second flower bed. Y'all, it's almost flower season and I can't wait! Flowers make me so happy and expanding my garden to give away even more flowers this season, makes me even happier.

Today, I'm sharing my weekly roundup of what I'm Currently Loving! My brain is fully on spring, which I'm sure you can tell by the selection of items in this week's post. We have finally had some gorgeous sunny, warm days here in North Carolina and even though it's not really here to stay, it's got me so excited for springtime! Also, everything in today's roundup is from Madewell because their spring arrivals are so good!

Which of this week's picks is your favorite?!

1. N E C K L A C E | I just can't say no to a dainty gold necklace... especially when it has flowers on it! This is so cute and so me!

2. H A T | I bought this hat last spring and I wore it nonstop! It's a great neutral color that goes with everything. The perfect solution to beach or pool days, when you don't feel like fixing your hair, or on the days when your hair just isn't cooperating.

3. S H O R T S | I feel like jean shorts that I feel comfortable in are super hard to find. I personally like my jeans shorts to fit loosely in the thighs so I am excited to see more relaxed fit options this season. I definitely want to order a pair of these shorts to try out!

4. S W E A T E R | A warm weather sweater is always a favorite of mine. Madewell carried a super similar one last year that I missed but I'm adding this one to my wish list. I love the details! It's such a pretty piece to transition you into spring.

5. R I N G | I love a statement ring and this one is so unique! I love wearing statement rings on my right hand and this one needs a spot in my collection.

6. T O T E | A straw bag is my absolute favorite kind of bag to carry when it's warm outside. I love how the neutral color goes with everything and I also love the texture it adds to your look. This tote is no exception! I love the design!

7. E A R R I N G S | How gorgeous are these earrings?! I have to have these! My earring collection doesn't have anything like these in it and anything with flowers is a yes for me!

8. T E E | I don't always love graphic tees but I love this one. I love a fun, positive message on a graphic tee and I also love the colors of this one. Good days ahead!

Happy Friday! I hope you've had a great week! I love a week that starts with one of my favorite holidays. Our Valentine's was filled with sweetness... literally. So much candy! I couldn't believe how much sugar my nine year old brought home from school. Haha! It was a fun day... and of course, my girls and I all wore festive heart headbands!

Today, I'm sharing my weekly roundup of what I'm Currently Loving! This recent weather has really brought on the spring fever plus my cherry blossom tree has gorgeous pink blooms. Sweet reminders that spring, sandals, and more sunshine are on the way!

Which of this week's picks is your favorite?!

1. J A C K E T | This jean jacket was one of my favorite Christmas gifts and I have been wearing it nonstop lately. It's the perfect lightweight layer that also adds interest to your outfit. These jackets are on the pricey side but they are so well made and are high quality denim. Be sure to size up one size in this style for the best, most comfortable fit!

2. H E E L S | For the past two years, I haven't really bought any heels but I always find myself needing a good pair. I haven't had much luck finding something that I loved until now! This pair is at the top of my wish list and will definitely fill a gap I have in my closet. I love them!

3. B E L T  B A G | This belt bag (I have black and spice) is one of my most used items, especially during the spring and summer. It's so perfect for errands and traveling because you can keep your essentials secure. I'm loving this opal color!

4. S N E A K E R S | I have been living in sneakers this winter because due to foot pain but thankfully I have cute sneakers! I own this style in two colors and after two months of wearing them, I can testify that they are amazing and hold up so well. I spray mine with ScotchGard to keep them looking like new. They do run a little big so size down a half size if you are in between sizes.

5. R I N G | Like I mentioned last week, I am currently loving rings! My Able rings are my favorite because they staying looking brand new and I never take them off. I am loving this one!

6. P A N T S | How comfy do these pants look?! I have been wanting to get another pair of flare pants and I think these are the ones. They are also currently on sale!

7. P U R S E | I am loving the woven leather on this purse! Also, this is my favorite color for a bag because it's so versatile and goes with everything.

8. T E E | I love how the neckline of this tee just really takes it up a notch and makes the tee feel much less basic. I have a long sleeve version of this and I love how flattering it is!

Happy Friday! I hope you've had a great week! I feel like this weekend should be called "Valentine's Weekend" because I'm planning to celebrate all weekend. Flowers, hearts, candy, and pink everything. My husband and I are headed out for a little date night tomorrow and I'm excited to kick the weekend off with a date. The rest of our weekend is for rest and lots of family time!

Today, I'm sharing my kind of weekly roundup of what I'm Currently Loving! I currently have my eye on pieces that channel spring but still keep me warm. Winter is my least favorite and I am so ready to move onto sweet springtime! I even ordered a pair of sandals yesterday!

Which of this week's picks is your favorite?!

1. T O P | This little feminine floral top is so cute! This is one of those pieces that you can wear now with a layer on top but it will transition beautifully into springtime when it warms up. I love it!

2. S N E A K E R S | High tops?! I'm surprisingly into it them! I'm such a fan of comfy sneakers (and I own this pair in the original low top version) plus I've seen other style high tops so cute. Even with a dress. I think they would be a fun addition to my spring wardrobe!

3. E A R R I N G S | Gorgeous, simple statement earrings?! They are always a yes for me!

4. B A G | I'm loving this little dainty bag. It can be carried by the handle but it also comes with a strap to wear on your shoulder or as a crossbody. It also comes in several other colors. It's adorable!

5. S A N D A L S | These are the sandals that I ordered yesterday! I live in Birkenstocks during the spring and summer. I wanted a pair of these waterproof ones last year but the ones I ordered got backordered so I never actually got any. I wore an inexpensive version all summer long in my garden but these will be an amazing upgrade. I love the buckle!

6. J E A N S | I typically don't stray away from my Madewell denim but for $22, these jeans have me intrigued! I'm planning to order a pair to test out. They look promising!

7. R I N G S | I am currently really into rings so I've already added this little set to my shopping bag. You can't go wrong with Madewell jewelry!

8. S W E A T E R | This pretty sweater is definitely an investment piece but I have been eyeing it for so long and decided to treat myself. It's going to be like a Valentine's gift to myself and so I'm excited for it to arrive!

Valentine Style at Triad Goodwill

Happy Monday! I am so excited for today's post! Back in December I partnered with Triad Goodwill to share some festive, holiday style and I'm thrilled to be partnering with them again. This time, it's all about Valentine's Style! Heart shaped everything, pink, and flowers are my favorite... all year round. So a holiday that incorporates my favorite things is definitely worth celebrating! I love the challenge of searching for holiday items secondhand. I have been pushing myself to thrift before I buy retail when it comes to clothing for the whole family, home goods, and even gifts. Goodwill is my first stop for the holidays and everyday!

I shopped in three of my favorite local Triad Goodwill stores to find all of the Valentine's themed goodies! You can check out my "GOODWILL VDAY" story highlight over on my Instagram account to see all of my festive finds. I found so many cute things for me, my home, and my girls! My main focus during my shopping trips was to create some Valentine's themed outfits that would work for a date night, everyday casual, and girls night out. Goodwill did not disappoint and I'm so excited to share the looks that I was able to create with my thrift finds!

I've labeled these looks in date night, casual day, and girls night categories but honestly, I would wear any of them for any of these occasions. Switch up the accessories to dress any of these style up or down! But this first look will most likely be exactly what I wear for a date night this Friday! How gorgeous is this top?! I spotted it at the end of a clothing rack and scrambled to see what size it was... as I was hoping it would fit me. I was so excited to find that it was my size! I love everything about it... the flower print, the sleeves, the style. Just everything! I also found a black satin cami during this thrift trip that I ended up making work for all of my looks. It's the perfect base layer and it was great for layering underneath this gorgeous top! I paired it with faded black denim, clogs, and my vintage bag (I also styled this one for the holidays back in December). I absolutely love how this date night look came together! That top is absolutely the star of the show. This is such a gorgeous statement piece and on a budget!

I plan on wearing a version of this casual daytime look on Valentine's Day for work. This beautiful pink cardigan was just made for a Valentine's outfit! Right?! It's too cute and I love the hearts on the sleeves. I was thrilled to find another great piece that is perfectly Valentine's themed! I'm pretty sure I squealed in the store when I spotted this cardigan. Add a pair of faded black jeans to your thrift wish list because they are clearly a closet staple for me. I kept the satin cami as my base layer with the cardigan and jeans then I added comfy sneakers and a little animal print to complete the look. This outfit is casually comfortable and so me!

This fun look is perfect for a night out with your girls! For this look, I reused this incredible jacket that I found at Triad Goodwill in December but it felt new when I paired it with the satin cami. I love the mix of tweed and satin! The colors in this jacket make me think of Valentine's Day. I kept the jeans (because they are so versatile) then added boots and a neutral bag to complete the look. I love finding and thrifting basics, like this black cami, to add to my wardrobe because I always get so much use out of them. I was able to wear it with three completely different looks!
