Coral Crush

The reason I started posting outfits on Instagram almost four years ago, was to get off my couch and outta my yoga pants. I wanted to start feeling good about myself again, especially after baby number two. Putting together outfits has been such a creative outlet for me and it all started with a few thrift store finds because at the time, a brand new outfit wasn't in the budget. I'm pretty sure people have made fun of me for posting my #ootd and looked at me strangely when I was taking an outfit selfie but who cares?! I'm following my passion and connecting with so many amazing people and companies along the way. I'm doing what I love and I'm so thankful for the people in my life who support my craziness.

I was absolutely humbled to get the chance to collaborate with Rebecca Minkoff, one of my absolute favorite designers! Dreams really do come true.

I say all of that sappy stuff above to show off these gorgeous coral espadrilles that Rebecca Minkoff sent to me to style and share! I've got a serious coral crush on these beautiful shoes. They are the perfect spring + summer flats because of the punch of color! I love the edginess of the studs on the straps, too. These shoes made me feel sassy so I decided to just go with a sassy, springtime look. Over the shoulder top, bold statement necklace, fun shades, distressed skinny boyfriend jeans, and my favorite bag. I can also see myself wearing these cute espadrilles with a chambray dress and straw tote as well. They are beautiful, comfortable, and fit true to size.

Tassels and More Tassels

My love for tassels began several years ago. I love how whimsical and fun they are. They just add a little something special to pretty much anything! Every spring, I get excited when I see new items in my favorites stores that have tassels on them. Today, I am sharing eight items that I am currently loving for my tassel obsession. All of the items below, are less than $70 (some of way them are way less than that) so they are budget friendly.
I ordered the straw tote in the natural color last night and I can't wait to get it! It's similar to more expensive ones that I love but for so much less (only $35)! Y'all know I love a good look for less find. I think it will be the perfect tote for our beach trips this summer or it could be used as a purse or you could use it for picking up some fresh produce at the farmers' market. Cute AND versatile!

Pink, Polka Dots, and Peplum

I love sharing outfits that I have styled for a project or a collaboration but I also really love sharing real outfits that I have worn. They are the most authentic and are true to my style. I usually can't get photos of my daily outfits with my "fancy" camera unless it's during the weekend. But my mini photographer was on spring break this week so I put her to work! The cutest part is that she always tells me how to pose and where she wants me to look. Pretty good for a newly turned six year old!

I got this hot pink Rebecca Minkoff bag + this adorable polka dot top in the mail on Wednesday and had to put them both to use on Thursday! They both just scream "EMILY!" Hot pink is obviously my favorite color and polka dots are my long-standing favorite print. Pink, polka dots, and peplum. So many of my favorites all in one outfit!

March Favorites

Hello, April! Another month has come to a close and I have to say, March was a good one. We celebrated Julianna's sixth birthday, created so many memories, and celebrated Easter! I have loved getting dressed and coming up with outfits to wear this season. One thing all of these looks have in common: pops of color... which is always a reoccurring theme for me. I also carried my Rebecca Minkoff tassel bag way too much but I just can't help it- it goes with so many outfits!

Groopdealz

Every Friday, I bring you my top five favorite finds from Groopdealz and today doesn't disappoint! Groopdealz is my favorite spot to find adorable boutique items at great prices. This gingham peplum top is my absolute favorite find today! I'm loving peplum hemlines right now because they are so flattering and feminine! This pretty top also comes in pink as well and it's less than $20. Speaking of hemlines, I'm also a huge fan of scalloped hemlines too and you'll find a gorgeous top with a triple layer of scallops below!
