Happy Wednesday! I hope you're having a wonderful week so far! In yesterday's blog post, that I shared that I started blogging by sharing pregnancy updates and thrifted outfits were my first fashion related posts. I have always loved shopping and clothes. My mother and I used to spend our weekends in thrift shops when I was growing up. During my pregnancies, I wore a lot of thrifted outfits because I just didn't want to spend a ton of money on items that I wouldn't wear after pregnancy. I shared some of these looks here on my blog within my weekly pregnancy updates. A few years later, I didn't have a lot of extra money to spend on new clothes because I had just resigned from my teaching position to be at home with my daughters. I was living in old yoga pants and t-shirts. I just didn't feel good about the way I looked, especially after having baby number two. So I decided to do something about it. I got back into an at home workout routine and I started thrift shopping again to create looks that fit my current body. One of my now close friends, would share her #ootd on Instagram and I loved seeing what she was wearing each day so I started sharing mine. These outfit posts connected me with so many other ladies who also have a passion for style, especially on a budget.

So I share all of that to say that today, I am getting back to my roots in matching thrifted outfits with my sweet daughters from Swap.com! Swap.com is the largest online consignment and thrift store. They offer clothing for men, women, and children as well as maternity items! They even sell gently used toys, games, movies, books, and so much more! You can go thrifting right from your own couch while you are still in your pajamas. How awesome is that?!

Tips for Thrifting on Swap.com:
Thanks so much to Swap.com for giving me credit to shop to create this post!

Know exactly what you are looking for. Thrifting can be super overwhelming and it can be super tempting to just throw everything in your cart but you need a game plan. Are you looking for a certain clothing item? Do you have an event coming up that you need an outfit for? Are you trying to find the perfect outfits for family photos? Start there when you are searching to narrow it down.

For our matching outfits, I knew I wanted us all to have faux fur vests so I started with that first and found one for all three of us. I was thrilled to find the girls matching vests in their sizes and a super similar vest for me. All of our vests were under $10 each! After I found our vests, I searched for black dresses and narrowed my search down to our specific sizes. At Swap.com, you can search for specific sizes, clothes, brands, styles, and condition of items to find exactly what you are looking for. Also, there's no need to worry about something not fitting. Swap.com has made returns hassle free so you can always return an item if it doesn't work for you. They have made thrifting so simple! Yay for style on a budget! You can also use the code 25FALLFUN to save 25% off at Swap.com!
