Striped Shirt Dress

Happy Friday Eve! I made it to the gym yesterday for the first time in almost two weeks. My schedule/laziness hasn't allowed me to the time to go. But I went to my power cut class yesterday and I am definitely feeling it today. This class is a 60 minute mix of cardio and strength training. I'm trying to work up the motivation to make it to cycle class this morning. I need to go because next week I'll be living in a swimsuit at the beach!

Today, I'm styling my newest dress purchase. This striped shirt dress immediately caught my eye in Target because I love stripes! I also really loved that the charcoal gray stripes on this dress were vertical instead of horizontal. I typically wear a size small in pretty much everything in the Merona brand but I needed a medium in this dress. The arm openings seemed to run small so I would definitely recommend sizing up one size in this dress. Also, I noticed on the reviews online that someone said that this dress didn't wash up well but I found that to not to be true. I personally wash all of my clothing on the hand wash cycle on my washing machine and then dry on normal in the dryer. I didn't notice as change in the shape or size of this dress after washing. 

I styled this dress for church with my pink heels, a neutral bag, and simple accessories. I know that I will be getting a lot of wear out of this pretty dress this summer.
