H&M Try Ons

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! My husband and I were kid free for over 24 hours this weekend and it so weird to have some time for ourselves! We definitely enjoyed going to a Christmas party, staying up past our bedtime, a gym date, brunch, a little shopping, and some housekeeping together. Cleaning the house actually isn't as terrible when you don't have little people at home destroying it as you clean it, lol. On Sunday, we hosted my husband's family for an early Christmas get together since we will be headed out of town super early on Christmas morning for Disney! Woo hoo!

Today, I'm sharing a try on session at H&M for the first time! I often shop at H&M online but I rarely go in the store because it's inside the mall. I hardly ever go to the mall because crowds are not my favorite! I prefer to shop on my comfortable couch with a cup of something super delicious and my pajamas. Anyone else the same way?! Online shopping is the best!

Striped Sweater

This sweater was one of my favorite items that I tried on for this week's try on session! The love the loose knit and the bold stripes. I tried this sweater on in a size medium and I loved the fit. It's also under $20! Yay for style on a budget!

Pink Sweater similar

I couldn't find this exact sweater online but this one was only $10 in the store! H&M is always my go-to store to find great sweaters for amazing prices. I pretty much always get a size medium in their sweaters (unless they run super oversized). I love a loose fitting sweater!

Sweatshirt

Who doesn't love a comfy sweatshirt?! I have picked up a few this season and I need this one as well. I love the length and the soft fabric. I'm wearing this sweatshirt in a size medium.

Off the Shoulder Sweater

This sweater was my favorite try on! The fabric was so soft and I love the off the shoulder style! I tried on a size medium and I love the fit. This pretty cream color isn't online but it comes in four other colors online. I think I'm going to get it in gray! I would style this pretty sweater with black jeans and statement earrings for an easy, put together look.

Striped Tee

I bought this tee a few weeks ago and it's my current favorite tee! The jersey fabric is so soft and it's an easy basic that you will constantly reach for. I got it in a size medium but it does run true to size if you prefer a more fitted tee.

Black Dress and Cardigan

If you don't already have a long sleeve black dress in your wardrobe then you need one! It's such a great base to layer with cardigans and vests this time of year. This one is a more fitted style so if you want a loose fit I would recommend sizing up one to two sizes. I tried this dress on in a large and I loved the fit. This cardigan is also a must have! It's so soft and a closet staple as well. I tried on a medium in the cardigan and I loved how cozy it was!

Currently Loving

Happy Friday! I hope you've had a great week! Mine has been way too busy so I'm seriously looking forward to some fun and relaxation this weekend. Tonight, my husband and I are going to be kid free to go my church's worship team Christmas party and then a little date night afterwards. I'm definitely looking forward to some downtime! I earned it this week!

Today, I'm rounding up my top picks for what I'm currently loving. Gimme all of the cozy pieces right now! Which of my picks is your favorite this week?!

1. Sherpa Pullover | I am absolutely loving all things sherpa this season! It's so soft and so comfortable to wear! I made a special trip to try this pullover on in the store yesterday and I fell in love with it. I tried it on in small, medium, and large to find the perfect fit. I personally don't worry too much about the size label. The fit is all that matters to me, whether I end up purchasing an extra small or a large. I found the fit I was looking for in the size medium. I got this gorgeous mauve color in store but immediately ordered the off white when I got home. Such a great piece for the chilly weather!

2. Backpack | I am currently loving backpacks and I love the style of this one. Plus this pretty dusty rose color is one of my current favorites!

3. Long Sweatshirt | Who doesn't love a sweatshirt that is long enough to wear with leggings?! Sweatshirts and leggings were just made for each other! This sweatshirt comes in tons of colors and it's leggings friendly!

4. Necklace | I love all things Kendra Scott and I am loving the style of this necklace. I mostly only wear simple, dainty necklaces so this one matches my style so perfectly.

5. Distressed Denim | I recently purchased (and returned) a much more expensive pair of jeans that were so similar to these. I tried these on in my most recent Old Navy Try Ons a couple of weeks ago and I wish I would have purchased them then! They fit true to size and are so comfortable.

6. Peplum Top | This top was in this week's Target Try Ons post and it's so pretty! I love the peplum hemline and the henley style. Size up one size for the perfect fit.

7. Nike Sneakers | How cute are these sneakers?! I love the mix of gray and rose gold (two of my very color colors). I'm planning to purchase these shoes to take on my trip to Disney World (see what else I'm packing here)!

8. Cardigan | I also tried this cardigan on in my most recent Target Try Ons and it's worth mentioning again! The fabric is so incredibly soft and I love this winter white color this season. Such a great cardigan to cozy up in! Plus it's super budget friendly!

Snowbird Sweater

Happy Thursday! Today, I'm styling a cozy combo of leopard faux fur and this adorable snowbird sweater that I recently purchased from Loft!

I almost didn't buy this sweater because I showed it to my husband, he didn't like. He usually likes most of the things I purchase but for some reason, he wasn't a fan of this sweater. He is by no means a fashion expert (I pick out his outfit every single day) so I bought it anyway, lol. I loved the unique texture of the sweater and the oversized fit. Moral of this story is that if you love something, get it! I'm so glad I decided to give this unique piece a chance!

I sized up to a medium in the sweater for a longer fit that can be worn with leggings but it does run true to size. I styled my snowbird sweater with budget friendly high waisted black jeans, glittery flats, and a faux fur leopard vest for church this past Sunday.

Hey y'all! 'Tis the season for full schedules, especially this week! I'm running a holiday shop at my girls' school to raise money for the PTO. The students are able to bring money to purchase gifts for family and friends. So far this shop has been a great success and we were absolutely overwhelmed with eager shoppers yesterday and I'm sure today will be the same. I better bring an extra cup of coffee to keep up! So yes a full schedule but a full heart. This week makes me extra thankful that I have the ability to have such flexible mornings! I can volunteer at my girls' school when I need to during the morning and then go to work in the afternoon (where I see my kids too). God is so good!

Today, I'm rounding up photos from the past week on Instagram. We have gotten a real taste of winter lately so I have been getting good use out of my sweaters, jackets, boots, and scarves!
