style: i'm so fancy

I'm not a huge fan of the "I'm So Fancy" song. Honestly, I had never even heard it until my husband showed me a parody of the song on YouTube. I listen to kid songs, Christian music, and randomly a "cowboy song" (also known as country music). But I do like being fancy and overdressing. I wore the "I'm So Fancy" outfit for errands and grocery shopping. It was so comfortable and fancy at the same time. A win in my style book.

Speaking of style, I am now classifying my outfit posts as style and my daily deals as fashion. Fashion is what you buy. Style is what you do with it. I love inspiring others and being inspired. Style on.

fashion: pineapple love

I'm stuck on pineapples right now. They are just too cute! I found this top and shorts at the J. Crew outlet during vacation and they were on sale. Yay! Pineapples just make me smile and this outfit was so comfy!

fashion: pineapples + stripes

Most of the time I go into my closet with some sort of idea of what I want to wear. I usually think of a certain item and then plan my entire outfit around making that item work for the day. Yesterday, I picked this pink pineapple shirt. I scored this shirt for free thanks to Target gift cards from the Virgin Mobile Catch App (you need to download it). It's so bright and fun but I wasn't really sure what I wanted to wear with it so when in doubt, I go with stripes. I also scored this skirt for free with the Wrapp app! Woot woot! I love free stuff. It was all about the gold accessories to compliment the pineapples. A perfectly comfortable and bright Saturday outfit.
