Hair and Beauty Bag

Hey y'all! Yesterday was the first day of summer day camp at the program I work at. It's three full weeks of fun, field trips, and enrichment activities! Both of my girls are able to come to work with me to participate in the program so that is a really big blessing. I love being able to work at a job I love and see my kids at the same time!

Today, I'm sharing eight of my current favorite beauty products that I literally use every single day. These products make getting ready and putting myself together a whole lot easier! 

1. Bronzer, Highlighter, and Blush | I have been using this for a lot a year and it gives your skin the perfect glow! 

2. Clear Mascara | I use this clear mascara to set my brows. I very rarely fill my brows in with a eyebrow pencil but I use this daily for a quick brow fix and to hold them in place.

3. Eyeliner | This has been my favorite eyeliner for over ten years. It is the best I've ever used and the price is amazing! I use it with the Naked Palette blended in for my everyday makeup.

4. Lip Color | This is also another great everyday product because the color is neutral and lasts almost all day long.

5. Mascara | I have tried so many expensive mascaras and this one is just as good as any twenty dollar mascara. I own it in the waterproof and regular version depending on what I'm doing that day. 

6. BB Cream | Y'all, this product really is magic! This is the very first BB cream that I have ever used and I love it. It evens out my skin tone and feels so lightweight. I used this and the waterproof mascara as my daily makeup while I was on vacation. If you are looking for a budget friendly BB cream that really works, this is the one!

7. Powder | I use this powder over my BB cream everyday. It's also a really great summertime powder because it helps control oil.

8. Dry Shampoo | Dry shampoo is a woman's best friend. I try to only wash my hair twice a week so this dry shampoo really comes in handy on the off days. I have tried so many and I always come back to this one. 

I also forgot to share my hair pictures from the last time I got my hair done a few weeks ago. I go see my stylist, Kahli at Renew to get my hair cut, colored, and styled every eight weeks. I have to get my hair colored on that eight week schedule because I've had some gray hair since I was 18. Not fun and I had even more gray hair this time. I really hope that is not going to be the norm for me! My hair is naturally pretty dark and she does the best job lightening it up for me to get the look I want. She does a shadowed root so that my regrowth looks more natural and she foiled in some highlights to break up the color. I love how my color turned out! My cut is an angled bob (that she just trimmed up because I'm letting my bob grow out) and she curled it with a 1.25 inch curling iron. I wish she could come to my house and style my hair for me every day. Kahli is amazing!
