Be The Change

sevenly, otherly, fashion for good, style blogger, fashion blogger

Happy Monday, y'all! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I went to the Kendra Scott event at Paintbase on Friday night and I brought my favorite friend with me. We were able to get manicures (complete with Kendra Scott polish), enjoys drinks and sweets, and they gave us the best goodie box (see what was inside over on my Instagram account)! We finished up the night with custom pizzas so it was definitely the perfect girls night out!

Today's post is all about spreading the message of Freedom United
The mission of Freedom United is to ."..INSPIRE millions of people to become lifelong abolitionists, then MOBILIZE them to INFLUENCE governments, business, and society to make the changes necessary to end modern slavery." Modern Slavery is something that I feel like a lot of people don't really know much about but it happens in the United States and all over the world. You can watch a short video to learn more about Modern Slavery here.

To support Freedom United and the fight against modern slavery, you can purchase an Abolitionist Box filled with items from amazing companies who are doing good in our world.

Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves,
    for the rights of all who are destitute.
 Speak up and judge fairly;
    defend the rights of the poor and needy.

Proverbs 31:8-9 NIV

Be the change you hope to see in the world.
