september favorites

So long, September.

September flew by the same way I feel every month seems to. We were busy adjusting to Julianna being a kindergartner and Olivia started preschool. Julianna has learned so much already- I'm amazed and Olivia is loving her preschool class. Josh and I were able to have not one but two date nights this month thanks to his parents taking care of our babies. I forgot how important those times alone together are to just to simply reconnect and laugh together. We were able to go to a wine festival and the Zoo to Do event at the North Carolina Zoo. This month, we visited Pilot Mountain for a family hike too. This week, I started back to work for training and I'm so excited for the 2015-2016 year at The Dream Center. I'm excited for one of my favorite months of the year, getting back to work, pumpkin everything, sweaters, and snuggles with my family.

Getting dressed during the early fall days in North Carolina can be a challenge. It can be really cool in the morning and then 80 degrees by 2pm. I also really wanted to wear many of my cooler weather pieces so I ended up with flannel and shorts as well as a dress with booties.

Welcome, October.
