walmart!? what?!

The only thing I love better than putting together outfits is shopping for the pieces to put them together. And I LOVE a good deal and a look for less item! On my last Walmart run {which is the last place on earth I generally want to be most of the time}, I found several cute items that are right on trend for fall! Woo hoo! These adorable booties- Walmart! This comfy, colorful plaid- Walmart! Both pieces are extra affordable which makes them even cuter. So make your next Walmart trip just a little more bearable and check out the cute selection of flannels, booties, ponchos, bags, and scarves. I'm pretty sure you'll leave something {else} that wasn't on your list. You're welcome.

sunday snaps

#sundaysnaps | week in review

Target runs with this cutie are always an adventure.

Hello, flared leg jeans. Welcome back to the wardrobe.

It's officially fall so it's officially pumpkin everything season. This pumpkin cream cheese muffin was so delicious and I got my lower calorie pumpkin coffee fix with a grande tall with 1 pump of pumpkin spice and 1 pump of white chocolate mocha. I add a little creamer, sweetener, and a dash of cinnamon. Way cheaper than a latte too.

I snagged Halloween costumes for both of the girls for 40% off with the Cartwheel app this week. If you're a Target shopper, you have to have this app on your phone. Big savings!

Olivia and I got to visit daddy at work this week. She loved hanging out in his office and writing on his dry erase board.

A sip or five of coffee is how I always start my day. How fun are these Kitsch hair ties and my polka dot pumpkin?!

Julianna is my little fashionista. She loves getting dressed everyday and trying new styles. When it comes to clothes, she's definitely my mini-me.

On Saturday, the women from my church came together to make fleece tie blankets for single moms in our community. We are going to give these out for Christmas with a note to show them how much they are treasured and loved by God.

Josh and I got to go on a date Saturday night thanks to tickets to the Zoo to Do event from my parents. We had so much fun chatting, eating, and spending time one on one. I love this man!

And last but not least, every woman needs a cute pair of leopard shoes {or heels}. After all, leopard is a neutral.

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.

bringing back the 90s

The 90s... scrunchies, Saved by the Bell, SNICK, slap bracelets, and sweaters/shirts around your waist. I love the 90s and I kind of love a lot of the 90s fashion trends. I would have been so good at being a teenager during that time period. Well luckily, most trends come back around and even though I'm sure if this one has come back around for real, I love it. A sweater or shirt around your waist adds a little something extra to the look + it's smart. Cold restaurant? You're good to go. Get caught in the rain? No worries. Rip your pants? Not a problem. See, stylish and super functional. Let the 90s live on, my friends.

sunday snaps

Today is my first post of a new series that I will be posting each Sunday afternoon called "Sunday Snaps." It will be snapshots from the week that may have or may haven't been posted on Instagram. They will be special family moments, fashion finds, and just fun in general.

This past Monday was Olivia's first day of preschool! She was absolutely thrilled to start school and the transition was so smooth. She went to Mother's Day Out twice a week last year at the church where she goes to preschool so I think that made it so easy. She is a smart, loving, and silly little girl and I know she will do great this year. Olivia wants to be a mommy when she grows up.

This week I took my new monogrammed workout crops for a spin. Go here to see more adorable personalized items and use the code "readyforfall" to save 20% off your order.

How fun is this plaid mini skirt?! I was so excited to get this pretty thing in the mail because I am always mad for plaid during the fall/winter. I plan to add leggings and a cozy sweater when it cools off. I also bought my first pair of flared leg jeans in years. I love the dark wash and mid rise {mommy friendly}. This brand is my absolute favorite! Worth every penny.

I ran into Wal-Mart for a few essentials this week and left with a few new fall goodies. I haven't really looked at their clothing or accessories in awhile but Olivia and I were wasting time before we needed to pick up Julianna from school so we browsed around. Y'all, Wal-Mart is it getting right for fall/winter! So many adorable boots, scarves, bags, and outerwear. I got this gorgeous {and soft} scarf and these black booties for about 25 dollars for both. Run to Wally World!

We love going on new adventures as a family and hiking is one of our favorite activities. Josh and I took the girls to Pilot Mountain to hike since we had never been there before. The view was incredible and the hike was beautiful. Such a fun day trip!

My girls also have to rock their leopard and plaid as well! I picked up two of these buffalo plaid dresses for my girls to wear for their fall school pictures. How cute are these items?! I love dressing my girls up!

I went into Bath & Body Works to grab a couple candles during their sale thinking I wanted something pumpkin scented. Nope. I left with two of the same candle and it's probably my favorite scent ever!

And believe it or not, I went to Target and only bought these items. It was some kind of rare miracle.

I hope y'all had an awesome week and a great upcoming one!
“One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.”
