review: groopdealz swag bag

You know what made my Monday a good one? Receiving this fun swag bag from GroopDealz in the mail! A bag full of goodies for me to try out and review + a sweet card to thank me for my blog posts. The card was even cute, too. 

Inside of my GroopDealz swag bag, I found a scarf, a necklace, a bracelet, a tote bag, and two rolls of bakers twine. 

Necklace

Today I added the adorable green necklace to my outfit. I love layering necklaces and this necklace was perfect to combine with a longer one. I loved the color of the stones of this necklace. I can see myself wearing this necklace often.

Bakers Twine

As soon as I saw the bakers twine in my swag bag, I started thinking about how I could use it. I've never purchased or used bakers twine before so I had to turn to Pinterest for some ideas. The first and my most favorite inspiration was for a tassel created out of bakers twine. I needed to dress up a gift bag for a birthday gift for a friend so this was the perfect occasion to try making a bakers twine tassel. It was surprisingly easy and I will be making many more of these tassels from my bakers twine. I need to order more colors because I have so many ideas for how to use it now.

I have a major love for stripes so I was so excited to see something striped in my swag bag. The tote bag is made out of a canvas material and it has a faux leather strap. This is a great mommy bag that can function as a purse and a diaper bag for a mom on the go. The tote is roomy enough for all of your essentials. I carried my wallet, cosmetic bag, pull ups, wipes, phone, and sunglasses in mine. I adore pattern mixing so I tied my favorite floral scarf on for a fun pattern mix and an extra pop of color. I will be carrying this tote bag throughout the year. This was definitely my favorite item in the swag bag!

Scarf

As much as I love stripes, I love polka dots. Especially gold polka dots. This is a great infinity scarf for warmer days. It's lightweight and comfortable. I wore this scarf when the temperatures were in the seventies. I can also see myself wearing this scarf during the winter with a sweater. Scarves are one of my favorite accessories to wear.

Bracelet

My favorite color is and always will be pink so this bracelet is perfect for me. I love the added touch of pave stones to the links of the bracelet. This bracelet will add the perfect pop of color and sparkle to any outfit. The bracelet wasn't has heavy as I thought it would be but it's still sturdy and durable. Durability is essential for a mom. I only buy costume jewelry so I have to find pieces that won't break if they get pulled on by one of my kids.
