thrifty: Ibotta

Today, I'm going I share with you an awesome way to earn money on things you already buy via an app for your smart phone. It's called Ibotta. I've been using this app for a few months. I don't use it as often as I should (I often forget to check it) but it's great! It's basically like coupons but they pay you back for purchasing items in money that can be transferred to a paypal account or you can use your earnings towards gift cards. 

For example, last week I added an offer for milk. If I purchased any type of white milk, I would earn 50 cents back. You buy the item, use the app to take a pic of the receipt, and then they add the earnings to your account. Simple and easy. 

The items are often things you would be buying anyways and they offer deals on a variety of different items from eggs, shampoo, and even movies.

I've earned almost $40 from shopping for my groceries! I love it! So go to your App Store and search for Ibotta and start earning some extra money!
